Blowing up in their faces
THE GOOD:
I really like the art in this issue. It is obvious that there are two artist on the books, but I still like the way the action and the characters and the vehicles and locations look. So basically everything looks good to me. The story is okay. We see the death of a character and we also get to see them starting to attack a man that I really don't know about. I really think that these issues are trying to end the series right.
THE BAD:
The solicitation? Has absolutely nothing to do with this issue. The character Valkyrie, not in this issue. Lincoln, no apparent secrets. I also really don't like how we are killing off characters because it's the end of the series. Wild Man was my favorite and they just killed him off so Kunoichi looks cool I guess. I also have no clue about this villain. We should be getting something a little better then a guy we just met for the finale.
THE VERDICT: 3/5 (Okay)
This series was fairly good to me. I really wanted an end to this series where we can have the characters solve all the problems that started in this series but leave an open path for them to go somewhere. These last few issues have just ruined the Blackhawks and I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see them unless the are in an issue for a death. Good series that has suffered from a terrible end.
