great but where is the rest 0

First things first this was one of the best issues of blackest night it has great dialog which Geoff Johns has mastered. The art by Ivan Reis is amazing and stunning and had has a great looking splash page and geat action scenes. This would have been a five but the only problem with this book is that it feels like it was cut short even the book of black was only one page I don’t know if you like the book of black but I think it’s a nice little touch, as a bonus it has the art of the covers fo...

Blackest Night #6: In case of Zombies, break Glass 1

Nekron and his endless horde of Black Lanterns have cornered the light bearers and Earth's remaining heroes in Coast City. Reinforcements from every wavelength in the spectrum of light are on their way but will they make it in time? In the meantime, the Lanterns will need to double their fortunes if they hope to survive. At their darkest hour, Ganthet played his hand in hopes of turning the tide but will it be enough? Blackest Night can be broken down into 3 acts: The First act is the formation ...

    Perfect! 0

First off Geoff Johns continues to amaze me with Blackest Night. When you think it can't get any better,it does!!!! Best issue of Blackest Night ever!  So in this issue,We see Barry Allen and Hal Jordan basically dodging the Black rings, which gets to be pretty cool, and they end up evading them We then see a sorta pickup from Green Lantern#49 with Atom,Mera and Black Lantern Jean Loring. Poor Poor Jean! Mera just rips her arm off! Why,Why Mera? They escape from the black ring,John Stewart arrive...

    Lex Luthor of Earth... 15

Frustrating, I like the idea of BN - the dead shall rise, screams, color alliance etc. and I really enjoy Geoff Johns writing style, but after five years in production, after divine Green Lantern: Rebirth and Sinestro Corps War, after fascinating promotion company, previews, interviews, Dan DiDio's promises and hot discussions in all comics-community we get THIS... It feels like you've been hit in your face by poker or something harder.   Is Luthor with Corps? Is Scarecrow with Sinestro? Barry...

The new turn on BN 0

First of all I liked the art and writing of this issue but I found it a lil' short. The monologue of Jordan in the begging was a great start just to explain to the new readers what the heck is happening.  The Deadman appearance was short but I wished more of him.  One of the interesting is the new turn that the arc is going to take. BUT hows gonna take this? I don't know.  ...

    Go go power-ring rangers 4

i didn't pay money for this book. I read a friend's copy while i waited for some new years drinking to go down. Now, i have read a lot of comic books in my time, and majority of them have been cheesy. Occasionally though, i come across a comic that is so deep and well written it blows my mind. A staggeringly brilliant comic with massive character development and explanations that really get your mind working to guess one step ahead or even trick and interest you into believing some of the things...

Flashing lights and Nothing More 0

To me Blackest Night has become like a BigMac, its filling when you eat it but when you’re done you feel totally unfulfilled. In issue six we see the Blackest Night saga continue, note how I used the word continue and not progress, that will be important latter on. We see Ganthet attempt to spread a little more color over a predominately black Coast City by creating rings for all the different Corps'. As the rings always do they search for those capable of expressing and feeling the emotions t...

So maybe no White Lantern 1

Around issue 3 I wrote a review thinking that their might be a White Lantern on the horizon but after reading issue six I just dont know what is coming. Im going to put it out there now that Geoff Johns is genius. You think you know but with Geoff on board you dont have a freakin clue. I was a little annoyed with Indigo in this issue. Here Im thinking this is the hooker with all the answers, WRONG!!!!! now they need more of their own to stomp out the Black Lanterns. Should have said that in the ...

    Don't Look Back 0

In terms of the rest of the plot developments elsewhere thus far in this series, the one here seems a little less impressive.  The assembled heroes of Earth have their backs against the wall as members of the Justice League have been taken over by black rings, and the heroes need to find a solution fast.  As has happened before, they don't find a solution rather a solution finds them in the form of Ganthet.  He reveals that he is relinquishing his role as a Guardian so as to become a Green Lante...
