It's true.  Several artists have drawn Storm's hair to look more platinum silver than white.  I could post several pictures to prove my point, or you guys could review worlds apart.  depending on the lighting, Storm's hair can look darker."

I just finished World's apart and her hair was pretty White to me... Maybe i just read a super high quality version of it [=

Unfortunately X-Men Worlds Apart, doesn't connect to T'Challa's condition in the new BP comic. But a few things that happened in the series lead me to belive that Storm could be the new Black Panther.
During "Worlds Apart" she gains the trust of her people and more importantly the Panther god. So there is no doubt that she's gonna step up her game as Queen of Wakanda, with T'Challa sidelined, but will she become leader of the Panther Cult? Is it mandatory that Wakanda's ruler (king or queen) be the Black Panther? Storms a good fighter but she can't beat the Dora'Maje (the female guards) so from a physical standpoint that would rule her out....but physical fitness doesn't matter that much.

Whoever it is, all they need to do is eat the "heart-shaped-herb" to gain the abilities of the Black Panther.

This comic is badass. Black Panther #1 delivered. Of course it doesn't tell us who the new BP is......yet, but its still worth picking up. Check it out and watch the beginning of a great fight.

That didn't bother me at all. For a cover to give a false impression is nothing new. If the reader is only picking this issue up for the big reveal then I guess their in for some disappointment. However I want (and am glad) that their building it up into a story as opposed to a one shot here it all is type of deal. I want them to drag out the fight between ___ & ___. I'm glad that they talked about the Dark Illuminati. Unlike other major events where for some reason BP is a no show, they've at least attempted to draw his character (or the BP character) into the Dark Reign event. Good art and a good story in my opinion.

I don't mind the back story. But they could have shown like the New BP like kicking someone's but then go to flashback to the lead up, then present show new BP, then flashback. I mean that is basically what they did, except they didn't have the new BP in there anyways. You would have still gotten the story, plus you would have gotten to what most poeple picked up the issue for was the new one.

How do you know they didn't? Look at the fight again, you may be looking at the new BP and not even realize it :P
