If black panther were to have his own movie, who do you think would be bast to play him?
Me and my bro were talking about this and my bro thinks that Will Smith would be the best guy to play Black Panther, but I don't think he would be >.>
Black Panther
Character » Black Panther appears in 3341 issues.
T'Challa is the Black Panther, king of Wakanda, one of the most technologically advanced nations on Earth. He is among the top intellects and martial artists of the world, a veteran Avenger, and a member of the Illuminati. Using his powers and abilities, he has pledged his fortune, powers, and life to the service of all mankind.
A Black Panther question
Will Smith is a good actor but Black Panther just is too straight. He doesn't have a sense of humor.
Here's another question. I am far from racist but if it's okay for the Kingpin to be played by Michael Clarke Duncan (or is it Duncan Clarke, I always mix it up?) and Nick Fury to be played by Sam Jackson (yes I know about the Ultimate comics), what would happen if they cast a white dude as Black Panther?

Nice question. I think (and this is my personal feeling) that you cant compare the two situations. Black Panther's character is centered around his nationality. Thats not really the case for Kingpin and Nick Fury. Does that make sense? Everything BP is, is centered on him being African. I dont know, thats how I see it anyway.

Again, not trying to stir things up. A white Black Panther would be the stupidest thing. But there are white dudes living in Africa.
Anyway, as much as I like Will Smith, I don't think he'd be the one. And I'm surprised no one's said Wesley Snipes. He was the one "attached" as a possibility before. But he is getting old and is dealing with his tax problems. I think you'd need and want someone in their early 20s (Gambler?) in order to deal with possible sequels.

Hahaha I know there are white dudes in Africa. And I dont think your stirring anything up, its actually a good question to debate/discuss. I just think there are certain characters you can get away with pulling something like that. Black Panther isn't one of them.
LMAO yeah I could pull of being BP :P
"T.J. Magnum said:"well it might be wesley snipes,he always wanted to make his own BP moive."Maybe he should have thought of that BEFORE he played in the Blade movie, it would seem weird to have 2 different guys look the same! D:

nah he said after the first

What made Blade work back then is it was more of a Vampire movie versus a superhero movie. Some things just don't translate. I don't care how good the Superman movie looks, I still think it's weird having a dude in bright tights with his speedos on the outside. With the success of superhero movies today, Black Panther stands a better chance.

It's such a classic costume but in the real world...no one would take him seriously. That's why I think Iron Man worked so well (besides the great story, actors, effects, etc). No spandex.
I never understood the whole underwear on the outside of the spandex look. It seems to be prevalent in the DCU.

they kick it oldschool at DC
A little off-topic but look what happened when they tried updating his look:
Actually, you should try not to look.
what about black suit superman ?
anyways does it matter what he looks like, when your life is his hands ?
It matters then more than ever! You just know Jimmy's around the corner snapping pictures, and do you really want your friends to see you on the front page of the Planet being carried around by a man in spandex with his underwear showing?

well when you got, show it lol
The guns weren't him, it was someone else in his suit. The jewelry is him and he wears it because it makes him feel sexy.
I thought I heard something about someone else (using the guns). Both those explanations make sense.
"Back on topic, what was up with the fancy jewelry? The guns was another guy.It was a cool run though.
And
"
"Maybe they could put him in Silver Surer's movie?Could be a crossover where he takes on the Black Racer.
"
Speaking of crossovers, I know it's a long shot, but if Marvel gets their movie-verse going and DC steps up with their movies, what do you think about DC vs Marvel on the big screen?
