Well this was....disappointing to say the most it wasn't bad or anything it's just that it wasn't as good as the last issue in other words the cat lost it's claws. I honestly don't know what to say about this comic it wasn't bad or good it was just kind of okay there was very little plot movement to the issue and it gave us a pointless cameo and the death of a character who was just introduced last issue so what was the point of this issue anyway? I mean the art was still good and the dialog was realistic but something was just missing from this comic that the last issue had well might as well dive in and review this for what it's worth
Okay the Story picks up with Vlad the Impaler's son trying to set up the Black Panther with a fake mugging but the panther was already on to there little trick and appears asking them is there done with their childish game....wow that is sad when as a criminal your so pathetic that your actually compared to a child because of how foolish your antics are. Okay back to it I guess panther beats the shit out of Vlad's son and his henchmen yadda yadda yadda same old stick. So Vlad decides to try to bait the Panther his own way by Staging a bank robbery right next to the Panther's business which he found out....somehow long story short Vlad ends up blowing up a roof top in his battle with the panther killing one of T'challa's friends and co workers. Okay I think I know what the problem with this comic is it's missing the perspectives of the hero and the Villain that was what made the last issue great this one was just lack luster without that core element to the story telling.
I'm the Angry Comic Book Critic and this one gets the stamp of approval till the next time.

Lack of plot movement? Useless character death? Pointless wast of a cameo (Luke cage at that!). Folk, this sounds like everything I can generally hate in a comic. Well, luckily all titles are 20% off next week at my local shop and Francavilla's artwork's so appealing.

Scans and Summary here     The Good The noir feel for this book is spot on from the art to the story everything screams Noir. The tale continues to unfold organically although some parts are a bit cliché if not predictable. The tale has enough layers that at least a years worth of stories can come from this setting.   The Bad If you are still waiting fro a logical explanation as to why T’challa is here….don’t bother to pick this up because you won’t get one. If you don’t like Noir…stay away ...

This Book Is Supposed To Be Bad. Did No One Tell It? 0

Black Panther has his first direct clash against the new crime boss taking over Hell's Kitchen in a confrontation that Black Panther is left the worse for. It is a humbling story for our hero and one that sells our new villain as a credible opponent.  In impressively short order, David Liss has established an environment and supporting cast for Black Panther's life in Hell Kitchen so strong that in only the second issue of his run he can throw in major changes to it that work. Revelations about ...
