Who Should Play Black Lightning in Live Action?

Will Smith. One of my favorite actors ever and I think he did really well in Hancock. But this is also subject to change because I wanna come back to this.

I've really been liking Anthony Mackie a lot lately, and I think he'd be a good fit.

They'd probably cast somebody like Tyrese Gibson, the guy from Transformers. He's young, he's no stranger to action, I just wonder if he'd be able to bring anything to the character other than that.

@fodigg: No offense to Tyrese, but he's never really come across as particularly intelligent--which is important to Jeff's character since he's a school reformer.

Agreed. I'm just saying that's what we'd probably get.

Actor Aldis hodge from the show leverage but i think he would be a great fit for black panther he is a pretty good actor.

I agree with ArturoCalaKayVee, I think Will Smith is the perfect actor. He's a blockbuster oscar winning actor with the physique of an Olympic champion. This is exactly what a Black Lightning movie needs.
