It has just been announced that the black lightning T.V. show will not be a part of the arrowverse despite the fact that it is made by the same producers on the same channel. Does this mean he will develop a team of his own? And if so will it include the outsiders/thunder and lightning?

Hopefully. The Outsiders would be amazing. We might be able to see Blue Devil (the New 52 was pushing a friendship between them). This could open up the Door for some magical elements.

This does not make sense. Black Lightning should be part of the Arrowverse. Why bother putting it in a different universe when it's part of CW? It would be great to see Black Lightning interacting with Flash and Arrow.

MCU has a lot of shows that takes place in the same universe. Arrowverse has Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow. So...why not Black Lightning? It's much easier to integrate the character in the same universe.

@the_impersonator: They really haven't given a reason behind it. They just announced he wouldn't be a part of it. I personally feel like it is an ok choice but only if he gets introduced to the arrowverse in the second season.

They made it clear there are other heroes in this universe so I'm sure he'll be fine

it's because Black Lightning is being filmed in Atlanta, while all the other CW shows are filmed in Vancouver

I think in Earth 38 it happens because of mentioning Supergirl and Vixen
