Cover A

Cover A is cool but nothing special. All members of Black Canary on fighting pose which is way better than just standing looking to the reader. All character look cool and have same usual look for this series. Sadly there isn’t a background for this cover just white background due to it gives the cover a unfinished look to the cover.

Cover B

There isn’t a cover B in this issue.

Plot

Black Canary + Allies vs Quietus is the main plot of this issue. Nothing else happens on this issue per say. There is sweet moment with Dinah and Kurt, which one of best of them as couple which was series of flashback of them on dates.

Art Style

Art Style still looks cool. But I must say that colors are best thing on this issue especially how colors work together. Even Amanda Waller looks good. Yes she is skinny but she has an androgynous look, if we can´t have Fat Waller at least is cool to have more androgynous look to the character.

The Good

Old Kurt Lance

Because Old Kurt Lance travel through time with Ditto, he knows what happen in future timeline as he mentions to Amanda Waller the fate of her husband. This could be cool aspect to use for storyline or event. (If Rebirth doesn’t undo anything or some writer forgot about this). Also Kurt Lance sacrifices his freedom to go with Amanda Waller to keep all Black Canary´s members free. It feels alike redemption act for him especially how he acted before this series.

Teamwork

I really like how everybody were working together to defeat Quietus. This a great nod to first issues that Dinah didn’t get along with being in a band and some members. And where we had all members support each other and even Bo Maeve working together and especial appearance and bit random of White Ninja.

White Ninja Mystery

Since White Ninja will have a major focus on next arc, there is lot setup for White Ninja´s identity. Especially in the end, where it’s reveal that she is connected to Dinah but we don’t know yet. Of course this makes good mystery to continue to read this series.

Good Jump on Point

This Good Jump on Point for people who want to read the second arc and didn’t read the first arc especially because the end where White Ninja´s moment with Dinah and ends The Band Arc. Also mostly question where answered on this issue, so people wouldn’t be so lost in this issue.

The Bad

Quietus

Quietus for me wasn’t good villain, we don’t know nothing about him except he was looking for Ditto. And even with him having sound absorption powers, in the end he was defeated by Bo and Dinah screaming at him (implied that Ditto support them to defeat him).

Aliens they are Aliens

Both Quietus and Ditto are aliens but we don’t have any names or even what are their species and of course what we know have sound based powers.

Time Travel Questions

Since Ditto ´s powers were activated in last issue, both Ditto and Kurt travel through time but raises some questions that weren’t answered in this issue and probably won’t be answer any time soon.
