The original champion of the Wizard, Teth-Adam was a former slave who channeled the power of six Egyptian Gods to fight evil. he COULD he definitely looks the part but I don't think so Dwayne doesn't seem to have that menacing thing about him he's so smiley! he'd be a GREAT Captain Marvel though I think that's a better role for him: superhero who is really a kid inside and wants to be the people's hero *big cheesy smile!*
Goldberg has the looks for Kratos, doesn't mean he can play him well. I've seen that picture multiple times along with others. I just don't see him pulling it off and I'm a huge fan of The Rock.
@Amegashita: really? Captain Marvel always seemed like a walking action figure to me and that's the Rock but I can see that you feel strongly about this so I will digress and bow to you, good sir or madam as the case may be
@Shadowdoggy: I just don't think he would make a good Captain Marvel. He doesn't have the look of Billy, and I don't see him pulling off the Billy Batson persona, if you know what I mean.
@Amegashita: oh, definitely not for Billy I'd go the whole little kid Billy route in a hearbeat Dwayne's only good as the superheroic part of him I just want to hear him scream "SHA-ZAM!"
From my limited exposure to Black Adam he is similar to The Scorpion King but angrier. Both ancient warriors who got superhuman powers/fighting skills. I like the idea. Also in talks for: Race Bannon?!?! lol
When asked about his interest in portraying characters that seem to fit his personality and build, such as Luke Cage, Namor, the Martian Manhunter or Captain Marvel, he said, "We've been active in talking to these different companies and these different studios about making that happen and finding what makes sense. There's so much there and so much untapped. I'm sure it will happened. We've worked to develop good relationships with the studios heads and executives."

@Amegashita: I suppose we get movies like Jonah Hex and Elektra but Captain Marvel.....nooooooo! no wonder the market is getting so oversaturated soon, no one will want to see superhero movies at all and we'll have to wait 15 years until anyone even DARES attempt to make, market and sell one
@Shadowdoggy: Well, when comic companies don't mind selling the characters to any director willing to pay, you never really get the chance to know if the director is good or not until after the movie comes out. And by then it's a little to late to undo the damage that had been done.
@Amegashita: agreed but as sad as it sounds, most of the scripts are doomed from the start IMO no director, no matter how good, could have improved on the basic idea, script and story of.... X3 the first Hulk movie Elektra FF:Rise of the Silver Surfer Jonah Hex The Last Airbender Ghost Rider Superman Returns Batman and Robin Batman Forever etc, without having to totally change the plot as he went along
@Shadowdoggy: A lot of the time its just some unknown director (?) who understands nothing about the character and mistakes the word Superhero for being an open gateway to lots of action and no plot. It's probably easier to put in a lot of action scenes that require very little thinking ability than it is to formulate a good story and develop characters. What kind of two bit director would take the time to do that?
He looks like him, but I don't like him as an actor. I mean, I think that Christopher Eccleston looks a lot like him, but I don't think that he should play him
