I just really hope there's a good reason that characters with such HUGE power differences can go toe to toe in this game. Because Ollie just punched Adam through a building.

Black Adam
Character » Black Adam appears in 798 issues.
The original champion of the Wizard, Teth-Adam was a former slave who channeled the power of six Egyptian Gods to fight evil. But when his family was murdered during the conquest of his people, he developed more ruthless methods to protect innocents. Seeing him as corrupt, the Wizard banished "Black Adam" to the tomb of Ramesses II... After centuries of imprisonment, he would finally escape to overthrow Kahndaq's tyrant by force, becoming the country's defender and a natural enemy to the world's heroes.

I think Adam beat your entrance, Green Arrow.
And victory stance
@kal_smahboi: He's been working out.
@g_man: Ha, obviously. I need to get on whatever program he's on.
Still far too many Bat related characters, and Shazam's costume is absolutely terrible but the gameplay for lots of these guys looks very, very impressive indeed.
uhhh, I have a complaint about the new site layout that I noticed here. When I expand videos into full-screen, the bar (not the tracking bar, but the "latest video/comments/search" one) is in the middle of the screen, and it never goes away.

Also, it's really disappointing that there's only the Auto setting for resolution. I get ads in HD, but after a few seconds, the actual video drops from 720 to 360.

Awesome, has Black Adam always been Egyptian? It doesn't bother me, it actually seems interesting.
yea he's always been Egyptian, i think he had some interaction with prince Khufu who is reincarnated as hawkman back in ancient Egypt if I'm not mistaken. His origin was slightly changed awhile ago to a north african country called Kahndaq.

This.
This also looks fun though. It'd be nice to be able to beat Batman any time I wish(or Superman for that matter).
I watched Black Adam fight Raven on Youtube yesturday and I'm disappointed. I was very happy this character was in the game but after seeing his moves selection I'm not impressed. He looks lame and not fun play. Raven on the other hand is a character that I can't believe made the cut. So many other characters out there that would be better suited for this game. Same goes for Harley. Who the hell wants to play as Harley Quinn? I'm still hoping for Blue Beetle. Especially after watching Young Justice he just comes off as a no brainer for the game.
OK, griping here and it has already been mentioned but if you're going to create a video game based on known comic book characters, get their power sets correct. In no way shape or form could Ollie do any of the things shown ( in the low res ) trailer here. Maybe I am being nit picky but seriously....Although the character's visual appearances look awesome and the game does look fun.
@kal_smahboi: dude its a fighting game. Do you honestly expect them to make things up so it seems reasonable that oliver can go toe to toe with black adam?
i honestly dont understand why netherrealms are having so many similar fighting style characers like
sinestro and GL
BA and shazam

Yes?
@nightflash: I hope you're being sarcastic...
@kal_smahboi: It really doesn't need to be. Superhero logic goes out the window in fighting games. Look at Marvel vs Capcom, does Phoenix Wright actually have the ability to beat anyone in that game? nope but in the fighting game world he can or what's even worst is Servbot. It's all in the imagination. Also the game wouldn't be any fun if everything needed to be explained.

No, I know. It's not so much that he's fighting somebody so much stronger, it's that he punched him through a wall. He uses his bow, he can't lift a car and he relies on his technology and not necessarily his strength, like you would expect Green Arrow would, but then he can punch through a wall. That's just inconsistent.
@kal_smahboi: He can't lift a car? Where did you see that?

Yes?
It will be explained. Ed Boon already said this.
@kal_smahboi: He can't lift a car? Where did you see that?
They put every character into one of two categories - either a tech character or a heavy-hitter - and personalized the environment interactions to each group. For instance, every character can use the car on the metropolis street level, but Black Adam will pick it up and smash you with it, whereas Ollie would get behind you and smash you into it.
@falconpuuunch: Oh cool. Thanks, I must have missed that comment.

Yeah no problem. He said so during one of the very first interviews of Injustice. He was asked by the interviewer why Catwoman could survive a space punch from Superman and he said that it would all be explained within the story. The story is designed around heroes standing up against Superman (most of whom are street level).
I'm not expecting a great excuse, but it's better than just saying... "Because it's a game." They might just MKvsDC this game and blame their resilience on magical "rage" or something.

Exactly, that's all I want. I don't want a scientific paper on it haha.
@kal_smahboi: Yeah that really doesn't make any sense. I agree with you. I really don't care about those things because it won't affect me in enjoying the fun. It's a minor issue to me.
I think Adam beat your entrance, Green Arrow.

Come on guys give Ollie a break he just went up against a super powered being with just a bow and some trick arrows and his wits.
Pretty much just giving Green Arrow a deathwish, sending him to face off Black Adam like that.
I'm surprised he lasted that long with him.
"To the faceee!"
@kal_smahboi: I hate how everyone gives this game crap because catwoman can slam superman into the ground but if its in mc3 where you have a fucking lawyer knocking out the hulk, it's a non issue. It's a fighting game for fucks sake.
@kal_smahboi: *Slowly waves hand* This is not the game you're looking for.
@falconpuuunch: the only reason is so people can play with their favorite characters without them having a huge disadvantage.
@slade_wilson: about what
