Remember when we saw Black Adam back in the Lex Luthor story trailer? Fans weren't too pleased because there were some major changes to his costume (and he was bald). However, today Injustice's Facebook page released a new (and far more classic) image of the character and confirmed he's playable!

There you have it, folks. It looks like Shazam's rival is now yours to control. Now for the big questions:

• What alternate costume would you like to see?
• Are you excited to play as him?
• There aren't a lot of spaces left on the roster. Who do you want to see make the cut?

Injustice: Gods Among Us comes out April 16.

Would def. want to see Starfire on the roster. They have almost all the other key Titans on the roster already

Big fan of Black Adam, he's a hecka cool villain. Even so, yeah, the roster is almost fully revealed and I dunno... seems lacking. Definitely not happy with a lot of the choices.

Seen it, but glad he's in the game. I would like to see Wildcat!

Star fire and red hood need to make the cut. Also he was sort of revealed early cause they made a toy of him fro the injustice line.

@evilvegeta74: Having Shazam and Black Adam in the same game is just super lazy and pointless. With such a huge pool of DC characters they should have chosen more divers characters. People like Blue Beetle, Black Manta, Captain Cold, Etrigan, Deadman, etc.

I really want to see Martian Manhunter and Robin(Damian). Having Damian fight with his sword would be awesome. Doctor Fate or some other magic character like Constantine or Zatanna would be awesome too.

Not the best character choice. There could have been some much better additions but for now I'm just relieved we're not getting that original horrifying costume we saw of Black Adam in the trailer.

Wouldn't he basically be like Shazam? Sorry if that's totally wrong though, not that familiar with both of them, just know some basic stuff.

Anyhoo, how large is the roster supposed to be? Seems like there's already quite a lot of characters in the game :D I would love to see the rest of the Bat Family though :P But that's somewhat unnecessary I guess. Though, Damian would be sweet as hell! He could be all fast, tiny, and nimble! And use swords! >:D Hmm, who else... Martian Manhunter would be sweet! Superboy for TK powers? Ooh, Blue Beetle! :D

I think it's safe to say MM will get in , I wish Damian could with his sword among other weapons. Maybe Damian will be a DLC. I'd like to Fate, Static, Firestorm, Captain Atom, and Barda as well.

I wonder what they'll do to distinguish him from Shazam. I like the character, but for an addition to a fighting game roster he seems a bit redundant.

Did I miss the mandate that was given to NetherRealm to make all of the costumes in this game terrible?

i kinda wish this was a team up game (like marvel versus capcom) would love to play with black adam, raven and sinestro

I like Black Adam and all but he's kind of unnecessary with Captain Marvel in the roster. I wanted to see someone people wouldn't expect maybe plastic man, wildcat or maybe even bumble bee. Somebody not so predicable.

Protip: wait to see his moves before thinking he's essentially a duplicate of Shazam. After all, Sinestro's moves are quite different than Hal's.

This story mode is going to be epic. I expect NetherRealm to bring the thunder when it comes to single player content. Shazam!

while it might seems a bit redundant, it seems like with a lot of the villains they are picking are arch nemesis to the heroes, Batman and joker, Superman and Luthor, Hal and Sinestro, good, bad or indifferent Black Adam is the probably the closest thing Shazam has to an arch nemesis. I can’t see them putting Dr. Sivana in a fighting game, though it would be funny and a great change of pace. Wildcat would be awesome, as would Karate Kid or Timber Wolf the few pure fighter characters in the DCU. Wildcat should be there, seeing how.. well in the old continuity he

trained a lot of the heroes in the DCU in hand to hand combat.

Red Hood and Starfire are dumb choices. This is a Justice League game.

Dr. Fate, Trigon, Darkseid, Zatanna, Mera, and Amazo are good choices.

But the truth is that i already have the characters I want: Cyborg and Shazam.

They could have given Black Adam pointy ears. After the Young Justice Show I want to see Blue Beetle. Blue Beetle just seems like a no brainer for this game with how his body can change shape to weapons. Martian Manhunter is the same way. I also wouldn't mind Lobo. I'm surprised he's not in the game. Once again he's a character that just makes sense for a fighting game. Maybe Metallo. He just seems like he'd make a great fit or the game. It's kind of funny. I don't play Marvel vs Capcom and never will, but if Netherrealm made a Marvel fighting game. There are about 50 characters I'd like to play. With this being a DC game, pretty much all the characters I want to play are on the roster. I wouldn't mind having a DLC team packs come out. Teen Titans, Outlaws, Green Lantern Corps or other Corps colored packs.

OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! Can't wait to see what his supermove is!!!!! I hope they got Arnold Vosloo to voice him again!!!!

why is he not jus a different skin to Shazam/Cap Marvel?

take him out (not because hes a bad character but because hes redundant) and give me a wider range of fighters. such as Black Canary, Wildcat, Martian manhunter, the Atom (my most anticipated fighter), Grodd, Trigon, PLastic Man, etc

Booster Gold and Ted Kord would be great to see in this game. Or Larfleeze or Plasticman

@Teerack: I am shocked and appalled that you would think the company that brought us legendary characters such as Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Rain, Ermack, Smoke, etc. would just lazily use an almost complete palette swap for Captain Marvel and pass him off as a new character! :)

They should just use the whole DC roster, I really want Tim Drake, Martian Manhunter, the remaining original Titans, Icon. Icon would be so awesome to have in this game. least we not forget Static, although Tim and Virgil are probably just wishful thinking

@Cavemold His standard look doesn't have the abundance of lines and designs. But that wasn't what I was talking about anyways seeing as how I said "look" and not "costume"
