Choke on This
THE GOOD:
I really like the art in this issue. Jesus Saiz knows how to draw these characters and he even makes me like some of the costumes I didn't really like at the beginning. But what he does the best is expressions and I love them. The story is why this issue is 5 stars. I loved Katana when she was on the Outsiders. When she was put on this team, I was sad because I though she would be toned down. Nope, this issue proved that she is still kick ass. We get answers in this issue. We get to see the fight between someone who they believe is Choke who also happens to be a person who helped them. We also get to see the characters form relations and break up. This issue is a surprise for me because I wasn't expecting much.
THE BAD:
I as really hoping that this arch would end in this issue but the ending does make it look that way.
THE VERDICT: 5/5 (Perfect)
The writer has surprised me and has blown my expectations. I would suggest this series to people who like to see females kicking ass. I think that series does a good job at giving all these characters personalities and making them clash. This is a good series and you should be reading it if you like any of the characters because Duane manages to balance them all very well.
