    Spotlight On 'Iron Owl'

The Good: The art looks good like last issue, but the transitions between the 2 artists are less noticeable, which is great. Even whichever artist who's art I thought looked ugly last time didn't this time, I hardly even noticed it.
I was never that into Huntress, but I have to give her huge props. What she does here is damn impressive, and it required A LOT of heart and drive. The fight scene she has is a beautiful moment of sheer awesome that totally makes up for her lack of importance in other issues.
The emotion displayed here is extremely powerful and well handled.

The Bad: Where the hell did all those locals come from in the beginning of the issue? They weren't there at the end of the last issue. I feel like we missed a few pages offscreen and it makes the flow between the 2 issues in this arc very awkward.
A lot of the dialogue just seemed really off. I don't know what it was about it, but things just didn't feel right a lot of the time.
For being as insanely prepared as White Canary was, why the hell would she have Sin in a room just a wuick jog away? She had a whole flight arranged already and all this other insane Batman-worthy preparedness going on, and she left Sin right there to be easily accessed? I just don't buy it.
So.... why is this no longer a Brightest Day tie-in? Hawk was still here and he hasn't completed his mission, so, wtf? Seriously?

    In Conclusion: 3/5
Some well deserved spotlight is shone on Huntress, and I think it's clear that Gail Simone is doing a great job of shining equal spotlight on all characters, but dispersing it in greater quantities that you'd expect. There's a spectacular fight scene that has some impressive build up to it, but what really holds this issue back is the holes in the logic of the plot. The way Huntress tricked White Canary was retardedly obvious, White Canary leaving Sin so unguarded was downright impossible to believe, the beginning just didn't flow hardly at all, and Oracle's discussion of Hawk just seemed off as well. If you're a Huntress fan, get this issue, because you will absolutely love it. If not, it's still a good issue, just not one of the best ones. You'll probably be able to overlook the glaring flaws though, because Huntress's scene is just that impressive.

      Huntress vs Lady Shiva 0

Just like the cover suggests, it's a duel to the death between The Huntress and Lady Shiva. Pros: This is for the Huntress fans out there. For those who don't know Helen, she does not take crap from anyone. The words to describe her are brash, arrogant, loner, impulsive, and yet, she's a softie at heart. She will stand up to anyone...even if it's the deadliest woman on Earth. I give Huntress credit for standing up to Lady Shiva in order to help Dinah. Even when the odds are against her, Huntres...
