    Secret Agent Birds 2

Birds of Prey chugs on with its twelfth issue. This time, they're looking to play secret agent, and who am I to stop them? The Good I'm happy they've remembered Zinda Blake being a bit of a sexpot in the original Birds of Prey run. Lady Blackhawk's one of my favourite characters because I love a gal who's comfortable with herself and likes to take charge. She shines in this issue, and that's something I can't complain about. Overall, this whole secret agent/heist works well for the team. I liked...

    Yikes! 1

Picked this book up for the first time today, and DAMN!, did I pick a harrowing issue to pick up on. The team is infiltrating some odd villain's main office, while The Question and Huntress investigate a corrupt cop ring in the sewers. Of course, things go awry, and the REAL mastermind is introduced behind it. It's a testament to how horrifying a character Simone has created that I knew right away who the villain was, just from the decor. Overall, I have to say, even though I'm new to this book,...

Now The Series Really Hits Its Stride 1

Twelve issues into the series and the Birds have come back together, new Birds have settled in and Oracle's new status quo has been established. With all of these pieces now in place, this twelfth issue is the strongest one of the relaunched series so far.The Question makes a guest appearance as the Birds pull off an undercover operation to investigate a mysterious new crime figure in Gotham City. It's a well done, Mission Impossible-esque sequence that has the Birds infiltrating an office build...

    007 anyone? 3

Synopsis: The Birds go undercover while Huntress teams up with the Question. What's Good?  I am happy to see Question as well. I am so glad that Huntress and Question are teaming up again. The back-up in Detective Comics a while back was a great read. The duo share some of the same traits. Since Renee can't seem to get her own series, I wouldn't mind her being part of the Birds of Prey gang. Speaking of which, Gail Simone has rest of BoP gang working undercover. It's nice to see Hawk and Dove do ...

    Birds in an elevator! 0

Birds of Prey #12 Okay so the birds create a plan to infiltrate this criminal, Mr Tripe's building. Mr. Tripe is organizing some serious East Coast crime and the birds have to stop it. Although, Huntress is with Question going deeper into this case. Deeper as in the sewer. Zinda tries to seduce Mr. Tripe and it somewhat works, while the others go into the elevator shaft to get to the database. Huntress finds something shocking out and tells Oracle to get the birds out of the building immediately...
