You asked for it -BIG BANG UNIVERSE is back with a momentous third issue , and WHAT an issue – an 80 page Giant featuring ULTIMAN, America’s Greatest Hero, in his most fantastic adventures ever, with an all-star line-up of guest heroes and super villains! First up is the three-part novel, “Ultiman of the Atom” in which ULTIMAN is transported to the nucleus of an Ultranium atom, the radioactive element that gives him his powers. There he discovers a futuristic civilization of people with super powers like his own and falls in love! Written by Gary Carlson, with art by Joe and Rob Sharp and Tim Stiles. Next, the Ultimate Human Being finds himself in a slugfest with VESUVIUS, the Human Volcano who is trying to break INTO a maximum security prison while The SHUTTERBUG takes photos in “Breakout At Atlantic Island”, with a script by Gary Carlson, pencils by Donnie Page and inks by Page, Mike Matthew and Tim Stiles! Then ULTIMAN finds himself refereeing a fight between an irate VENUS, Goddess of Love and War, and the super paparazzi known as SHUTTERBUG, who made the mistake of snapping a picture of the Goddess when she was topless in “Love And War”, by writer Gary Carlson and artists Donnie Page, Bob Rivard and Mike Matthew.! Finally, ULTIMAN confronts a caped and cowled predator sneaking through the night that turns out to be the infamous arsonist known as DIABLO, come to wreak havoc and raise hell in Empire City in “Hell To Pay”, scripted by Gary Carlson and drawn by Ron Williams! Plus – – the KNIGHT WATCHMAN comic strip adventure “The Crime Chef!” by Chris Ecker and Roger McKenzie, “Hannibal The Cannibal” by Mike Worley, pin-ups and more!. All this within a stellar, vintage 1960’s style ULTIMAN cover by the great Jeff Weigel. It’s the “classic” approach to superhero comics done by a cadre of creators who love them. Black and white interiors inside full-color covers, saddle- stitched and standard comic book size, for $9.95.
