razzatazz's Beyond Wonderland #2 review

    They're all like that

The series continues strongly here with another strong installment, just not as strong as some others.  Calie must deal with Brandon departing while she draws her support from others (including a previously unrevealed best friend named Melody.)  As opposed to other issues in this and other related series though the madness is not dwelt upon as much here as the actual reality for the characters.  This still serves the series well, but it becomes just a little more average by doing so.  The short exposure to Wonderland here does not really accomplish much for the tone of the series either, acting more of an aside.
