    Wants and needs

    Once again the Wonderland series gets a lead in with an issue numbered as zero, and again it is intended on as a teaser for the entire series.  Once again that is what the reader gets here, but with the previous series having already revealed its share of secrets, it is now for this teaser to show what is to come.  As far as what it is trying to accomplish it is fairly successful at that, but at the same time downplays some of the things which go into making this such an excellent series.  Again I would say that the reader can easily skip the zero issue and jump straight into the main series, but if they are a fan of the series, then they might like this for a sense of completion, and at that it was not that bad.

      Massive junk in the trunkI have not read the previous issues that are associated with this one, so I am at a disadvantage starting in the middle. With all that being said, I did not enjoy reading this issue, and especially did not find the artwork tasteful in general. Calie’s strictly a sexual object, maybe not for the purposes of the story but in spite of it. It’s difficult to imagine that any male readers are not instantly drawn to Calie’s less than normal proportions, and that’s not to say at...
