Both Betty and Veronica are so smitten by the new boy in school that they tear up the Riverdale night scene looking for him when they hear he likes dancing. Veronica gets contact lenses with a star pattern on them, but it doesn't impress the gang the way she had hoped. Veronica has to figure out Christmas gifts for the Lodge's wealthy friends. Betty is furious when Archie takes a love poem she wrote him and gives it to Veronica with his name on it.
