Bert Vaughn is the founder and manger of the St. Louis-based company Animators, Inc. He is over 6 feet tall and looks like a former athlete. He has blond-white hair that is cut very close to his head.
Bert and his number one animator, Anita Blake, often argue about the clients he gives her. He is money hungry and often doesn't think about the safety of his employees if a client is willing to pay a large sum of money. Anita said once that Bert would take money for a hit on the Pope if he knew he could get away from it.
