    Proper Japanese Title: ベルセルク (Beruseruku)

Originally serialized in Monthly Animal House, after that magazine ended the series was moved to the new magazine Young Animal where it became one of the biggest franchises of the long-running magazine. After the original creator, Kentaro Miura, passed away in May 2021, the series continues under the supervision of Kouji Mori, a close friend of Miura, and being illustrated by Studio Gaga, a team made of Miura's assistants.

The series influence can clearly be seen in games like From Software games, Final Fantasy, Devil May Cry, and Dragon's Dogma.

It has also influenced many mangakas around Japan, such as Hajime Isayama (Attack on Titan), Kazue Kato (Blue Exorcist), Yana Toboso (Black Butler), Makoto Yukimura (Vinland Saga), Yuki Tabata (Black Clover), Ryohgo Narita (Baccano! and Durarara!!), etc.

Translated into English as Berserk by Dark Horse Manga.

    Translated into German.
