    Beowulf was a hero that killed the monster known as Grendel and Grendel's mother. Beowulf defeated too a dragon, but he dies in this battle. Beowulf was known by your strength and skill, and he was too a expert swimmer and wrestler. Ecgþeow was the father of Beowulf.

    Wonder Woman: Ends of the Earth

    Beowulf, Claw the Unconquered, Stalker the Soulless, and Wonder Woman battle Grendel and D'grth. Stalker had recruited the heroes and turned on them in battle. Stalker told the heroes that their souls were being traded for his. Beowulf jumped in front of Wonder Woman and was wounded by Stalker's sword that was meant for Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman steals a piece of The Rock of Eternity and transports herself and D'grth to Earth where she defeats him. Grendel makes his way to Earth using the dimensional gateway that had just been opened buy The Rock of Eternity.

    Beowulf made his debut in Sword and Sorcery #0 in September 2012 as a back up feature. The character was re-imagines into post-apocalyptic setting with remnants of advanced technology visible among the medieval setting. He gained a one-shot feature In DC Universe Presents #19 where he travels back in time to present day New York City. He met the professor Gwendolyn Pierce, who decided to follow him back to his own time.
