Biography
Ben Templesmith was born 7th of March 1978, he attended the Curtin University of Technology in Perth, Western Australia when he was seventeen and graduated with a Bachelor in Design degree, majoring in Illustration, in 1998. After graduating he worked as a freelance artist for several years until he produced his own commercial work in 2002 on
Todd McFarlane's
Hellspawn. He has gone on to create his own original works as well as contribute to many licensed properties at various publishers, most notably, Image Comics and
IDW Publishing, with which he had an exclusive agreement through most of 2008 and part of 2009.
Since early 2008 Templesmith lives in San Diego, California.
He is left-handed. He has two cats.
