Abe Jenkins wore the Mk. II Beetle Armor for the longest time before re-establishing himself as a hero known as MACH-I with a new set of armor entirely. He later developed a new Mk. III Beetle armor.
Abe returned to wearing his classic Mk. II Beetle Armor when he was leading the Thunderbolts and his MACH-IV armor was damaged.
The Mk. II Beetle armor was later stolen by a student called Elizabeth Vaughn, who with two friends who had stolen different models of the armor, joined the Initiative and the Thunderbolts.
Stolen models of the Mk. II armor were later being sold by criminals in New York.
