    Drowning a Good Series 0

THE GOOD: The art is okay. I think we have a few good expressions and Amy Reeder does her best to try to capture the amazing part of J.H. Williams III. I like that her art is sometimes a little more simple to read the order of the panels. I think I like the story in this issue. We have Batwoman trying to free the kids and some more stuff. All of it seems really interesting and the dialog is great in this issue. I really like how was learn some new things about the villains in this issue. I also ...

Meh... can we have Williams back on art now please? 1

Two issues back, I was content with this book even without J.H. Williams on art, as fill-in artist Amy Reeder's work, while not on Williams' level, was still noteworthy. The book was remaining merely decent in the story department, and primarily worth picking up as an artistic showcase. Those 2 issues back, I was content. Two issues later, things have changed. Drowning in a Sea of Despair, and the Torrent Still Falls 2

I'm so glad this cover didn't get hampered by the banner last month. This is just.... so damn incredible. I mean, sure, J.H. Williams III has done some AMAZING covers. They're filled with some incredible depth of complexity; rich with layers of imagery. Reeder's covers take the opposite path, but with equally incredible results. I love flashbacks! 0

I love the way "To Drown the World" is being told; the shocking twist could come from anywhere at any point in time. Too bad Amy Reeder is leaving, that was quite a short stint. I am eager to see what happens to Bette, and how all the pieces come together. Please check my mini-review of Batwoman #8 here:http://bit.ly/IOl3KqComments and feedback are always welcome!...

What Method Is Best To Drown The World? 0

Synopsis: Kate's actions may strain her relationship with her girlfriend. So far, To Drown the World has been showing us background on characters involved with The Mother, and the events that led to Kate's position currently. It hasn't been easy on her or on the people involved. What makes Kate different from Bruce is that she attempts to find love in her life while being Batwoman. Even if Kate is a strong, independent woman, she's still a woman. I like how she gets defensive on Agent Chase claim...
