Waylon Jones was born with a genetic mutation giving him a reptile's skin, sharp claws, and teeth; due to genetic atavism. Croc became a circus wrestler who would rise to conquer the Gotham Mob racket only then to become one of Batman's most physically imposing rogues.
James Gordon is one of Batman's first supporters, helping him fight against crime and corruption in Gotham City. He eventually rose to the rank of Commissioner in the Gotham City Police Department, and continues to be one of Batman's greatest allies.
Barbara Gordon was the first modern age Batgirl until she was brutally shot by the Joker, rendering her paralyzed from the waist down. Barbara reinvented herself as Oracle, providing intelligence to the DCU heroes and leading the Birds of Prey. She has recently become Batgirl once again to protect Gotham City.
Alfred Pennyworth is Bruce Wayne's loyal father figure and butler. Alfred raised Bruce (and later Dick Grayson) after the death of the Waynes. A former British secret agent, Alfred is a skilled surgeon who often treats members of the Bat-Family.
Deadshot is one of the world's greatest assassins, mostly known for his expert marksmanship and near perfect track record. He has been on all sides of the heroes and villains spectrum, and would do anything for his daughter. He is currently a core member of the Suicide Squad.
Jason Todd was the second Robin, but was brutally murdered by the Joker. After he was resurrected, Jason learned Batman did nothing to avenge his death. Anguished and seeking vengeance, he initially turned against his mentor and took on the Clown Prince's former identity: the Red Hood. At the age of nine, Timothy Drake cleverly deduced the identities of Batman and Robin. Four years later, after the death of Jason Todd, Tim convinced Batman that he should be the new Robin. He would later become leader of Young Justice.
Basil Karlo was an actor who upon discovering that a remake of one of his classic horror movies was being made went insane and began killing the cast and crew, wearing the mask of the film's villain Clayface, until stopped by Batman. Initially having no superpowers, Karlo joined with a group of other "Clayfaces" and stole their combined powers, allowing him to shapeshift into any forms he wants.
The Anti-Monitor is The Monitor's counterpart from The Anti-matter Universe. He is responsible for the original Crisis on Infinite Earths, was the sole Guardian of The Sinestro Corps and once, against his will, was the source of The Black Lantern Corps Central Power Battery.
Joe Chill was a small-time criminal who on one fateful night encountered Thomas and Martha Wayne as well as their son Bruce. Chill robbed the Waynes and then shot Thomas and Martha, leaving Bruce orphaned, inciting his journey into becoming the vigilante Batman.
Often misunderstood, or dismissed as the dark one, Raphael is known to go to the extremes with his anger. He has a hard time handling his temper, pressured from the unfair facts of life. Most known for his twin sai, red bandanna, and the nickname "Raph" from his brothers and friends.
Leader of the Foot Clan Ninjas and the arch-enemy of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and their master Splinter. Many incarnations of this villain have surfaced- human, Utrom, Clone, and even a Shark mutant.
A rat mutated by exposure to toxic ooze, Splinter raised the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and trained them in the art of ninjutsu. He is also the mortal enemy of Shredder. He is a father figure to the turtles and is easily able to fight them all at once. He does not carry a signature weapon however he is well known to walk around with a wooden cane and also seems to be a incredible marksman with the bow and arrow.
Damian Wayne is the son of Bruce Wayne and Talia al Ghul. Trained by the League of Assassins all his life, Damian joined his father’s side in the war against crime by becoming the fifth Robin.
Donatello is the scientist and engineer of the turtles. Most known for his Bo Staff, purple bandanna, and the nickname "Donnie" or "Donny" as called by his brothers and friends. He is responsible for all the turtles vehicles of transportation.
A warlord banished from Dimension X, now an adversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as their other main villain.
Mikey is the comedian of the brothers, always making a joke. He is the fastest fighter of the group with his two nunchaku. Most known for his orange bandanna, the nickname "Mikey" as called by his Brothers and Friends, and the signature phrase of cowabunga which is used in a good amount of his incarnations. He is often considered the original Ninja Turtle because of the first concept art of a unnamed turtle that had nunchucks strapped to his arms.
Leonardo is the calm, focused, and disciplined leader of his brothers, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Nicknamed "Leo," he is usually seen with a blue mask and twin swords.
Arnold Bernid "Casey" Jones is the hockey masked vigilante who helps the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles in times of need. He is very close to Raphael and is often in a romance with April O'Neil.
April O'Neil is a human female who, in most incarnations, was rescued by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles after being attacked by thugs. After overcoming her initial fear of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, they have since formed a close friendship. In some incarnations, April is romantically linked with Casey Jones.
The granddaughter of the Shredder, Karai is the second-highest ranking member of the Foot Clan. In some versions she has a special rivalry with Leonardo.
