    @dark_slayor:

    (1)Batman interrogated Gordon to find out what he needs to bring down Flass.

    (2)He goes undercover and takes incriminating pictures of Judge Faden.

    (3)He uses a device to eavesdrop on Falcone like a wiretap or a bug and finds out when his next drug shipment arrives.

    (4)He takes down Falcone and leaves him,his men and drug shipment for the police to bring in. He figured out that something else was also going on since half the shipment wasn't going to the dealers.

    (5)He gives the leverage to Rachel so that Falcone stays behind bars.

    (6)He interrogates Flass to find out where the other shipment was going.

    (7)He used his periscope for reconnaissance before he entered Crane's place and then took the drugs from the rabbit to investigate.

    (8)He asked Fox to make more of the antidote as a contingency against the Fear toxin and/or as a self defence when he goes after Crane again.

    (9)He follows Rachel because she is going to the Narrows to talk to Crane.

    (10)He interrogates Crane about what he is doing and who he is working for.

    (11)He tells Rachel to give one antidote to Gordon and other for mass production as a CONTINGENCY for whatever Crane's endgame is.

    (12)He figures out with Fox how the drug was gonna be dispersed and asks him to start making more antidote too.

    (13)He asks Gordon to blow up the tracks as a CONTINGENCY if he isn't able to stop them from loading the train.

    In The Dark Knight :-

    (1)Batman gives Gordon lightly irradiated bills for his undercover cops, so that they can buy drugs and find out which banks are holding the Mob's money.

    I don't know what you are talking about him not being a detective. He sent that brick to Fox because that is what real detectives do. They send evidence so experts with scientific knowledge can figure out what it can tell about the crime.

    He is pretty forward thinking in the movies. He had the R&D building that Sonar machine right after Joker attacked the party and also killed the Judge and the Commissioner. And there are other contingencies above.

    So if you weren't able to grasp what he was doing and thought detective work involved Detective vision or narrating to yourself what the evidence means maybe you need to start a petition asking Zack Snyder to use voiceovers and have Bruce hold your hand and walk you through what he is doing.

    And yeah everybody, go ahead and hate the one director who gave Batman a serious standing even among the most casual movie-goers and give the fans something against the MCU.
