after listening to this weeks podcast James Robinson mentions there will be a new Batman on Earth 2!!

now if we go for the not using the same characters in both universe rule, we can say it won't be Dick, Jason, Tim or Damian

maybe Jean Paul Valley?!! if there were no rules against using characters from the main dc universe i'd love to see a pre new 52 Tim Drake in the role

Jean Paul Valley....Maybe, I was never a big fan of him. I think it should be a powered to make things intresting.

Dick Grayson is the only person I find suitable for the role.

If Damian does die in Batman Inc 8, then I think having Damian be Batman in Earth 2 would make a universe crossover with the main DCU that much more personally impactful to Bruce.

Probably Dick Grayson. So far, most of the old names from the pre flashpoint Justice Society have been used on the rebooted earth 2 with few exceptions. The current earth 2 Dr Fate is a new egyptian character but Kent Nelson still has been retained as the original Dr Fate. The earth 2 batman costume reminds me a little bit of Terry McGinnis.

I hope its Dick. He might be a new non-white version (half black, dyed red hair, flattop haircut, gauged ears *fingers crossed*). That'd be pretty cool. If it is me Dick or a new version, I he needs to be slimmed down.

Both earth 2 and main earth Red Tornado seem to be robots and might have a related origin. For main earth Red Tornado, it is mentioned the technology came from another place (earth 2 ? apokolips ?). Should be no confusion if there are 2 Dicks : earth 2 Dick Batman and main earth Dick Nightwing, earth 2 batman is Dick, main earth batman is bruce wayne. If earth 2 comic gets cancelled later on, all possible confusion will also disappear.

The robotic Earth 2 RT could be an android, a synthetic human, who has a Ma Hunkel-esque identity. She's a new adaption. We'll just have to wait and see.

Ma Hunkel was the original, Golden Age Red Tornado. Earth 2 is about revamping Golden Age characters. They could be revamping Ma Hunkel to where she is an android rather than a human being.

For the earth 2 female synthetic red tornado, I do hope she has working sex organs. I am more used to Dick Grayson on earth 2 since I started in the bronze age. Post-coie, the Justice Society lost Dick Grayson for several decades. For replacement earth 2 superman, can try dev em or lar gand.

I just purchased the new Annual. It is revealed that this Batman kills. So it is not Dick or Tim. I have a feeling that it is Jason Todd. It could also be Thomas Wayne, but I highly doubt it. The dialogue just seemed like Jason.

Is anyone sure the Batman that died was Bruce Wayne. Why does the Batman that died resemble Dick Grayson. He has a similar style costume and his fighting sticks as weapons. Do you remember this statement in 2012

Who's to say that the Batman who dies was Bruce? "Yeah, there is a Wayne under the mask, but we're looking at a man desperate to save the only family he has left." So maybe the Batman who died was Thomas wayne, and his son Bruce decided to take after his father and dawn the cape and cowl.
