Huge fan of both, but Batman a little bit over Joker. They are such extreme opposites they compliment each other awesomely.

As for my answer, I would say that Globaly I prefer Batman. Sadly Snyder drove me away from the Joker. Azzarello and Morrison had mad him so great.

Batman. Just look at the Joker stories without Batman. Most of them suck.

I find the Joker more interesting and intriguing.

But Batman more simple hero type role model.

So for my motivation Batman, but Joker as in how smart he is, eg his schemes. But I don't mean like evil just he's a smart strategist, even though he has like no equipment or money he still makes a plan.

Joker, because without him, Batman just isn't interesting. Everyone else follows the formula, but the Joker keeps it interesting by keeping us guessing. Sometimes he's a villain; sometimes he seems more like an anti-hero (like in Dark Knight). In my opinion, they should have had a Joker villain in Batman Beyond, then maybe the series wouldn't have been cancelled so soon.

It depends. If we are talking about the new 52, Joker might not be as interesting as he once was, but if we are talking about pre-new 52, especially Batman the Brave and the Bold, Joker, definitely Joker.

How does anyone like the Joker? He's a physcopath mass-murderer who is constantly trying to ruin Bruce's life in the name of some kind of jole.
