there are already a lot of topics on who should play the new batman but what about how the suit should look, or what kind of a batman should be in the the film, should robin be in the new franchise, etc, etc.. what are your ideas Viners?
Batman
Character » Batman appears in 23537 issues.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
what should the new bat-suit look like?
They're gonna movie-fy it, or new 52 it like Man of steel did... But i'd want to see a Batman Hush design. Jim Lee's designs are neat-O

I agree i want something closer to the comics with the grey, no Nolans advanced Hockey pads suit.
Arkham suit. Or something gray like that. Armor seems to be in style now. New 52 suit is, arkham suit is, Nolan's suit was... So maybe similar to a new 52 suit. No undies
1- Gray and black
2- No underwear on the outside
3- Intimidating as hell
4- White eyes (if they can make it look right. If not, it's not a big deal)
I'm cool with most suits that fall under those guidelines.
@havoc1201: I would prefer just Batman. In my opinion, Robin is only an interesting concept when there are all 4 (introducing them all would confuse the hell out of the audience).

I think the relationship between dick and bruce could be great, and it would set up for future movies like nightwing. and then new robins over time which would probably never happen bc of reboots
@havoc1201: Maybe, but I would prefer Batman.
@rulerofthisuniverse: me as well for at least on solo and then maybe the second have dicks parents killed at the end and then in the third he is almost robin or he is Nightwing and we just have flashbacks to him being trained and being Robin.
I'd like it to be similar to Origins. Anyways there already thread like this and there's some very cool examples of how the suit should look like @deathpoolthet1000
It needs to be less restrictive so we can have some real martial arts in the movie. I do like the Arkham Origins suit.

This thread has being done in the past guys.
And i dont feel like posting all the images again.
But i would say it should be like Tron Legacy ones.
This isn't a Batman solo movie. They definitely will be considering what the Bat-suit looks like next to superman's tights. They might want to make it "pop" a little, I'm trying to avoid using the word "bright" to describe what I mean... a really solid black that "pops" off the screen, and they might add the yellow details. I doubt there will be major changes from what we have seen in the past.
@masterdetective: no nipple suits!
i wouldn't mind a continuation of the suit from TDK and TDKR.....except for the cowl. the helmet aspect just looked stupid. go with something closer to latex/nomex and i think that suit works alot better. but only if they go with a very frontline fighter kind of Batman.
if the new movies place greater emphasis on Batman being a ninja and a detective, then go with a suit that looks more form fitting and stealthy. some of the latest b-movie ninja flicks have had great costume designs that would work perfectly for the dark knight (even the ninja attire in The Wolverine were good) and would simply need to replace the traditional hood/face scarf with the cape and cowl and you've got a perfect stealth oriented Batman. doesn't need to be flashy if the film emphasizes intelligence, planning, and controlling the battlefield ratger than fighting a group of guys in the open. even a justice league appearance could start with this suit and then show Batman moving to a more Nolan-esque suit for better protection against the threat the team is facing.
That.....looks kinda cool.
@punyparker: I know..sad this didn't make it to the movies
Something like the Arkham Origins suit. Slim it down and simplify it doesn't need to be all segmented like Nolan's just separated from the torso and joints in limbs for movement obviously (that's what I hate about the other Arkham suits if the things made completely out of kevlar just stitched together by the looks of it it would not be flexible at all) but definitely a similar aesthetic to that suit. Grey and black, big Bat symbol, and white eyes. I'm sure they can find a way to do this practically look at behind the scenes videos for the Avengers they did light up eyes on the Iron Man suit prop just scale it down to the size of proportioned eyes and we're good.

A little bit of silver and it becomes so cool.......
I really hope we won't get some blue caped 60s thing.....
@punyparker: lol well they're going of Jim Lees Batsuit...unless it was his New 52 batsuit ;)

Hope it is....
But Jim Lee's 'style' would be perfect,no matter the colours.

Batman Costume In Batman Vs. Superman Looks Like Jim Lee Design
After Kevin Smith hosted the Man Of Steel fan chat on Saturday, director Zack Snyder rewarded Smith with a sneak peek at a photo of Ben Affleck in the Batman costume. Having experienced such a momentous viewing, Smith couldn’t keep it to himself and shared some details during a Hollywood Babble-On show with Ralph Garman at The Improv in Brea, California.
Smith said, “You have not seen this costume in a movie on film before. It is…and for a comic book fan it was mindbending. I was like get the **** out of here. Only you have enough power to pull this off, man, because everyone always does this ****ing matrixy kind of slash X-men black armor thing. There wasn’t a single nipple on this ****ing suit, man.”
When Kevin Smith uploaded the show as a podcast, he tried to be all sneaky and bleep out the artist name that he said could draw what the new Batman suit looked like. However, one of our readers in the comment section to our article about Smith’s comments revealed that an audience member in attendance at the live show revealed that the artist that Kevin Smith referenced was Jim Lee.
Of course, Jim Lee has drawn a couple different looks for Batman over the years. He drew the New 52 Batman, which is a black and grey suit. He’s also drawn a classic blue and grey costume design in the past. Whether the cape and cowl will be blue or black is still up in the air, but it definitely sounds like Batman will have a grey suit instead of a black suit.
