i liked Batman Beyond. Terry Mcginnis (i dont think that is the right spellin) only problem is i dont htink they made acomic of him, just a TV show. i thought it was very entertaining

Could this be him shooting Darkseid? Yea he will return to the cowl but for how long? Terry is born in 2023. he doesnt run in to Bruce until he is atleast 17. That means if bruce shooting Darkseid is the moment stated that leaves roughly 30 years (in our real time) in their that someone else might be batman. It is stated that it had been years since anyone last saw batman so maybe 25 years of open time when someone else could be batman.
@DEGRAAF: That story with Bruce using the gun for self-defence was done in the first episode of the show, he had a heart attack and some thugs got the upper hand so he resorted to using a gun, but they could rework it so that it was the darkseid shooting instead.
Has anyone read The Dark Knight Strikes Again? I know it never had good reviews, but it has a real shocker of an ending, one that kind of leaves batman in a bad way and his future in doubt. I think if Frank Miller ever wrote a third part, it would be great if he brought in an entirely new character to be Batman, one that could redeem Batman and save Gotham from Bruce Wayne's faults. (this is asumming he's ready to write it properly and not make another parody like "the goddamn Batman)
