Personally, i'd have to say Christian Bale because he made me like the Batman movies again. Also, i loved the way Begins was; written, directed and performed. Great cast par Rachel. But i didn't like the actress playing her. maybe the new one can change my mind, if not i want he dead and introduce Dick into the movie, but it doesn't have to be robin yet.

I liked Michael Keaton when he played Batman. BUT Christian Bale made me love Batman all over again.

I liked all of the old Actors in the Old Batman movies but like Tom Welling as Superman, they just don't remind me of Superman in any way, and the same way all of the Old Batman Actors don't remind me of Batman either.

Christian Bale is an amazing Batman and i think he is the best!

I really hope they make a lot more other than the Dark Knight with Christian Bale.

Christian Bale is one hot batman. Bruce Wayne is suppose to be attractive

and Christian Bale is h o t.

CHristan Bale is by far the best Batman. Michael Keaton was good for his time and the movie, but Begins was perfect and made Batman cool agian and not a cheeseball movie. Chris Nolan has a fantastic vision of what and who Batman and Bruce are, and the darkness of his world. I can't waite to see Dark Knight I think it will surpace Begins and everything I have seen of Heath being Joker is sick and demented which is how he should be. That laugh gives me nightmares.

It's definitely between Bale and Keaton. I prefer Bale.

I would say Keaton, i haven't seen him playing any roll badly, and he did played Batman as it should had been done. Christian Bale did a good job, giving me the desire to watch the next movie. Finally I want to say something about Val kimer. I think he is an amzing actor, but the setting of batman forever was quite bad. I think He could have done a great job if the movie had been given a good direction.

Lewis Wilson- I think its just too old.

Adam West(i think was next.- Was absolutely wonderful....for a comedic Batman.

Keaton- I absolutely hate Tim Burton. F^<k him and all his movies.

But, that isn't Keatons fault. Considering I hate Tim Burton, and, Batman and Batman Returns are my Favs. I think that says something.

Val Kilmer- Would have made a better Jean-Paul Vally. I think he pulled off the role a little too hatefully.

George Clooney- Seriously...Just because he was the hottest shit at that time doesn't make him batman worthy. By that logic, they could have gotten Jeff Goldbloom right after Earth Girls are Easy. Personally, I like Goldbloom, but he will never ever be able to play Batman.

for me the new Batman, Christian Bale, has make an incredible job acting as our loving and misterious Bruce Wayne. I think he resembles all Batman is. He's hot and has the looks! :D

For me, Batman begins with Christian Bale just - and only just - beats the first Batman movie with Michael Keaton in it, which featured the brilliant Jack Nicholson Joker performance.

i have to agree with midknight. clooney, no matter how you slice it, sucked.

but back to batpools point, keaton and bale all the way.

but putting it to a decision of supporting cast, i would have to go with the prior. those movies made penguin awsome and gave joker the spotlight he deserved {but halle berry ruined catwoman.} batman begins, yeah we got scarecrow, but we had to put up with ra's a ghul, who no matter what people say, is the worst character imaginable {julian day would kick his ass.}

however, it is my hope that my conviction is changed with the release of the dark knight. ledger died to become the joker. its what made crow famous so i have no doubt that this film will renew our faith in the industry {admit it, the Schumacher films were absolute disgrace to batkind.}

Christian Bale

I want to add Kevin Conroy to this. Even though he was only a voice actor for the majority of most of the DC Animated movies that involved Batman. He really defined Batman, voice wise at least. I mean every time I read an issue of Batman and I'm Reading Batman's Dialogue, I hear Conroy's voice. And I can't tell you how excited I am that he is continuing to lend his talent to the upcoming, Gotham Knight, animated feature.

Christian Bale was the only actor to play Bruce Wayne and Batman as if they were two different people.

Bale. He's a character actor, and can make all of his roles unique. He can be Batman, and in a different movie, be a magician, and in no way make me think "Batman's not a magician...". It's what makes a good actor, and he is a great one.

I loved Keaton's Bruce Wayne, but I didn't enjoy his Batman so much. I think had been given something similar to what Bale was given He could have made a much better movie. Personally I like Bale the best. I have always thought he was a great actor and he really pulled it off (with a little help from Chris Nolan). I have to say though I wonder what Keaton could have done I he had been in Begins...

Bale!  he is a very dedicated and serious actor.  He put on so much muscle for the part.  I liked Keaton but he is a shrimp.  Kilmer sucked.  Schumacher and clooney should be egged.  I love the revamping of the frachise and Im licking my chops for the DK to hit theaters!

Bale. I agree with a post earlier that said he's the only actor that can make Bruce Wayne and Batman two completely different people. When he first appears in Batman Begins, it's so epic. Keaton would be second for me.
