LMFAO...Batman has always peed his pants, it's just the material he used soaked up the mess, and masked the odor
Batman
Character » Batman appears in 23535 issues.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
Off My Mind: Did Batman Really Wet His Pants?
Lol...wow.
Actually, my first thought was "I wonder if the Bat suit has some way of handling a 'bladder spasm'..." I knew a guy who said he attached one of those hot water bottles to the inside of his leg and ran a plastic tube up to his...particulars...just so he wouldn't have to leave his seat during a crowded event... And he is a ditz...imagine what Bruce could have come up with...
Honestly this doesn't change my view of Bats, it's just one of those WTH were they thinking moments. If they'd had him do something (no pun intended) bat s*** insane towards the beginning of his career, and then had him pee himself, that'd be one thing. but here you just gotta wonder what went through their heads.
Utter rubbish. Next we'll find out that the reason why Jason Todd is so pi$$ed off is due to Dick Grayson 'stink palming' him on their first meeting.
@AirDave817: i agree on blaming tha editors for part of this
but its not gonna change my view of batman and i will prolly forget this anyway...maybe not
Would NEVER happen. What's with all these supposed good writers writing crap. Now, Kevin Smith is doing it too. I thought Grant Morrison was jumping the shark. Now, it looks like we got a new winner. Great.
Batman did not start out as Batman so it makes sense that in the early years he would have pissed him self.... how ever i is not believable that he would tell some one.
There are other ways they could have showed that he was not an expert or confident at first, maybe show that one time early on he became so nervous or something that his heart was beating so loud in his chest, he was sweating so much, he could barely concentrait. Maybe have him nearly pass out or something. Pee his pants? I don't know. I am just saying there are other ways to accomplish the same goal in the story without having to go that rout.
But I thought this WAS a Elseworlds story, doesn't Batman make out or is sort of dating Harley Quinn in this?
I actually like the idea of showing that Bruce isn't always as confident and bad as he seems to be, just like how Spider-Man isn't always as confident and sure of himself while he is making all those jokes. Its just his way of making others think he is in control.
(As a side note I guess, Would this be a big deal if Spider-Man had peed his pants? Not just said it, because I could see him saying that three times an issue, but what if Spider-Man peed his pants?)
Batman could be shown being vulnerable, with things like showing how nervous he can get in some situations or something. It might actually help show more character to him. But Peeing his Pants?
But it might have also been meant to be funny, showing Batman's vulnerable side and being funny. Was it funny to anyone?
" @couzinit99 said:Me Too." This just shows how horribly crappy Kevin Smith is as a writer. Between making Batman Pee his pants and making Joker strongly femenine in his first Batman miniseries, Kevin really doesn't get how to write characters. Its pathetic almost to see how lame his writing is considering i've liked his movies for the most part. I think him and a few other should definetly stay clear of writing comics, because they don't understand how to write characters. "I disagree. "
I like Kevin Smith, he's a funny guy but that's just wrong. Its like he just doesn't care what all the hardcore bat-fans will think. He was given a privilege to write Batman and imo he was irresponsible, disrespectful of 70 years of lore and possibly even a lil egotistical to think he has the right. He should stick to Jay and Bob, its his best work and what made him famous.
Wow you know I try to stand up for Kevin Smith when everyone says he just does bathroom humor... but when you see lines like this it's kind of hard to not agree with them.

Bladder Spasm are contractions of the bladder which generate an urge to urinate, sometimes occur by extreme pain. Incontinence may occur if the bladder spasm continues, as the bladder will force urine out. Any resulting stream of urine may be impossible to stop, as the patient does not have control over his or her bladder.
A bladder spasm =/= automaticly mean he peed his self.
We're allowed to insult the world's greatest detective, but can't heal Oracle? What the hell is the D.C. editor in chief thinking? Somebody kick him in the nuts for me please.

I think this article misses the point.
Batman wetting himself? That's just typical Kevin Smith "humor." Why not talk about the extremely crappy back and forth with Silver St. Cloud? "DeeDee"??? Mr. Smith is stuck in perpetual adolescence.
Oh man... I can't believe people are getting so worked up about this. Batman is just a guy. And a fictional one at that. Based on what Smith has said about that scene, it seems like Batman was just trying to boost that other guy by giving him a certain impression.
So either way, it really isn't a big deal.
Well coming from Kevin Smith what else does anyone expect. I dont think they should have done that though. Batman is the one that makes others pee their pants not the other way around!
