Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
i think he means this one. it was a suit that Talia Al Ghu'l gave Batman when his original was torn in the Resurrection of Ra's Al Ghu'l story Arc. Fans wanted to know more about it and they give an explanation about it's origin in Detective Comics #842. Pretty good read. I won't ruin any of it by telling you the details, go to your local comic shop and pick it up. Post Edited:2008-03-09 19:57:51
It's called the suit of Sorrows. Created around the time of the crusades. When Batman was wearing it, he goes into rages and almost kills a criminal and gets impulses on committing suicide. Batman tracks it down to a mountain region and meets some monk. The suit also has ties to the Order St Dumas which created Azrael. I also liked the fact that they left the St Dumas connection a mystery , they will probably reuse that idea someday. Do I smell the Resurrection of Azrael? Post Edited:2008-03-15 10:26:09
