Title says it all. Thanks for any input.
Batman
Character » Batman appears in 23635 issues.
Bruce Wayne, who witnessed the murder of his billionaire parents as a child, swore to avenge their deaths. He trained extensively to achieve mental and physical perfection, mastering martial arts, detective skills, and criminal psychology. Costumed as a bat to prey on the fears of criminals, and utilizing a high-tech arsenal, he became the legendary Batman.
Is Bruce Wayne fugitive a good book?
Personally, I enjoyed the Bruce Wayne: Murderer/Fugitive event quite a bit and thought that it served as an excellent conclusion to Ed Brubaker's Batman run in general, which continued the trend of showing a Batman that was growing more and more detatched from the identity of Bruce Wayne and the people closest to him. I thought the overall plot was interesting, along with the different reactions of Batman's supporting characters to Bruce Wayne being arrested. The event also has 3 of my favorite Batman moments:
1. Nightwing socking Batman in the jaw.
2. Oracle pointing out to Nightwing how Bruce basically goes through phases where he treats people like crap and then apologizes when he finally realizes he needs them, only to go and do the same thing again.
3. Batman admitting that he's Bruce Wayne to himself and always has been.
IIRC it's also where we got the idea that Batman has various random Bat Bunkers/mini-Bat Caves set up around Gotham City.
@nathaniel_christopher: thanks for the input, sound good.
Nope, it was a boring, mediocre waste of time. Even its important lessons and developments never carried over. There's a reason Hush utterly dwarfed it. It was the culmination of Rucka's work on Tec overall which I personally didn't find special.
Deadshot had some nice moments when he showed at the end though.
It has so many crossovers that in the end It gets tiring If it was shorter, It would have been better but It dragged a lot. It's also mostly a Bat family story where Bruce is the main focus but not the protagonist, at the end of the story He takes control, and there are a few interesting lessons there. Overall is not a great story but if you want to know all of Bruce's timeline pre new 52, it's essential.
Yes it is a good book. It gives a good look into Batman's mental state and really goes into his character.
@dragonrampage: It is not bad. It should be read with Bruce Wayne Murdere.
Also for your information both those stories are No Man's Land aftermath. As well as the 2 New Gotham books which should be read before.
@nathaniel_christopher: didn't that also happen in the court of owls?

Which part of my post are you referring to?
@nathaniel_christopher: night wing socking batman in he jaw in return for batman kicking a tooth out earlier in the book.

I haven't read Court of Owls in years, but I don't remember Dick hitting Bruce. I remember Bruce knocking the tooth out, in order to help explain Dick's connection to the Talons and the Court (Because you know that's the only way that could have happened, by punching Dick without warning), but I don't remember Dick ever hitting him back for it.
