    It was only a matter of time! The lovely folks over at The Source posted a teaser image to what I can only assume is the upcoming cover to a DC book. I have to say, Andy Kubert's artistic style is one I absolutely love, so it is great to see him draw the cover for Bruce's big comeback! Conan meets Batman, this time, in action! What did you guys get from the image? What do you think will happen? More importantly, do you think Bruce will survive the swarm of hairy cavemen?

    Well, I can certainly say on this.... "About Flippin' Time!!" Not too fond of the caveman thing, but at least it's starting events that we can hope will lead him back to the modern age. I wonder if he will just return home or will he skip forward in time such as how Captain America was doing. Could be interesting to see Bruce in the late 1800s London. Solving the original case of the Jack the Ripper killings.

    I'm glad that he is coming back sooner rather than later.  We all knew he was alive so why prolong the comeback any longer than necessary.

    Way too soon to bring Bruce back- I wonder if they'll pull a Bucky and Cap with him and Grayson? Still- great art work on that cover, I'm most def buying this one.

    I would like nothing more than to have Bruce Wayne return. But I read somewhere that the new JLA lineup would have Dick as Batman. Also, if batman had died and was made into a black lantern, who was the guy in the cave at the end of Final Crisis. Bruce in a cave, now Bruce fighting cavemen, I can't wait to see what happens. Long Live the Dark Knight.

    This looks great but I don't think this signals the return of Bruce Wayne.I'm guessing this will be more like a series of stories about what has been happening to him since Final Crisis.It seems unlikely that he will be back in Gotham before the end of the year.I'm enjoying the Bat books without Bruce and it would be more interesting to see how Dick grows into the role rather than bringing him back so soon,plus it could be great fun seeing Batman in lots of different time periods.

    TOO SOON?! people... DC did to Bruce the exact same thing they did to Superman back in the 90's when they offed him... he was gone for like a year: Death of superman followed by reign of the supermen and superman's eventual return... Bruce was never meant to be gone for longer than what it's been! 
     
    Personally I cant wait... Damian as robin sucks monkey b@lls, Dick as Batman's already been seen...besides,  I can see anybody taking Hal, Barry, Oliver, and even clark's place but not bruce, never bruce...why? 'cuz he's Batman! 
     
    SOOOO cant wait! looks like this year will be a lot more exciting in DC than the previous ones!

    This is embarassing. I can't believe they are doing this to Bruce Wayne. 
     
    When he finally gets to the 1950's era they will give him a pair of skis, add a lot of black and flared out effects on it, (like bat wings natch!!!)  and then build a ramp for him to  jump over an entire army of sharks.
