BTW. has anyone read new 52: Legends of the dark knight??
New 52 has no legends of the dark knight comic, thats a digital comic thats not in continuity and its pretty good
Character » Batman appears in 23630 issues.
@Stormbox I know, buuuut it says in the digital app store that its (legends of the dark knight 2012) so I assume its new 52 only digital?
I think its like a reboot of the old legends of the dark knight ?
@Stormbox cool, so what youre saying is, Legends of the dark knight is not a reboot? they just revived the series? and its its own thing i presume?

why is there alot of hate on new 52 Dark Kinght? why do you guys not like it?
Its just poorly written, and the stories are scattered and don't make a whole lot of sense. Things have gotten better since Greg Hurwitz took over writing duties on issue 10, but its still not as good as other bat-books like Batman and Batman and Robin
@Imagine_Man15 cool cool! then what about new 52 detective comics? and the digital legends of the dark knight 2012?

Detective Comics is... all over the place. Some issues are really good, others suck. For the most part, its right in the middle... not terrible, but not great either. I know nothing of Legends, I don't read digital.
Cool thanks again!
As a huge batman fan i feel like i must read all of the comics, for me it doesnt matter if its good or bad, i must read it to get the full batman experience...its still batman to me, you feel me ?
Batman's definitely my favorite. I'm also growing to like Damian in Batman and Robin. The Detective Comics and TDK that I have read have been pretty boring, but I haven't read any TDK now that Hurwitz is writing. I actually really like Legends of the Dark Knight, the new one! The Amazo short was pretty cool.
Not really sure what my least favorite series is, but probably TDK.
@gotwillpower yo, which comics in the new legends of the dark knight you liked? looking forward to it
my personal favorite? definitely Scott Snyder's Batman due to great story arcs like "the Court of Owls" and upcoming "Death in the Family." my least favorite has to be Teen Titans. even though its not really Batman related, but what the did to Tim Drake's character is unforgivable.
Bump. I'll just list then from best to worst.
Batman
Detective comics
Batman and Robin
Eternal
Batwoman
Batgirl but I think it'll get way better with the new creative team. Can't stand Gail Simone or the artist.
Red Hope and the Outlaws.
Best - Batman Eternal...(i loved Batman inc, not so much the "anyone can be Batman concept"...but the Batman inc in general, and what it can bring to the table)...so it's not surprising loving Eternal.
Worst - Batman and Robin...don't get me wrong, i like Damian's character, he's entertaining, and i would like if he came back, plus, i like the art, and the interactions between the characters have been very well done...but, this whole Apokolips/Darkseid, thing, just seems out of place...and sadly, i'm pretty sure, it will have a lame conclusion, and an even lamer explanation to all of this.
I am looking for a Batman comic series where it keeps the reader hooked, has/eventually has Batman's allies in some (Nightwing, all the Robins, Catwoman, Batwoman, Spoiler, Batgirl, etc), and has a nice mixture of villians (Joker, Scarecrow, Killer Croc, etc...even newer ones if need be). I understand that might be a lot to ask for since some of the these Batman comic series are still somewhat fairly new; however, I am asking anyone out there, What would be the best Batman comic series to look into for such qualifications?
