So we all know Batman has hosted some of the greatest writers to have ever picked up a pen. Frank Miller (Dark Knight Returns), Grant Morrison (Arkham Asylum), Jeff Loeb (Hush), and the list goes on. But who in your opinion has done the best so far?

Jeff Loeb, Hush was awesome. I also like Grant Morrison's current run on Batman.

Where's Paul Dini on the list?

funny you mentioned it, but yeah, i find it very entertaining to see batman with such a mean streak even against the other DC heroes mentioned. entertaining But not as a comedy per say dude. why, whats your opinion on the story?

I pretty much have the same opinion as far as All Star goes. Good for entertainment outside of the real story. I love Jim Lee's artwork though and I've found that it's actually easier to get a laugh out of this series so far then anything. I couldn't stop laughing when Robin almost killed Green Lantern.

Chuck Dixon had a great run on Detective that included Knight Fall. That wasn't his best stuff but probably his most known since Bane broke Batman's back during it. He also did an awesome job with NightWing and Robin. The popularity of Tim Drake as Robin owes a big thanks to Chuck Dixon. James Robinson wrote some of the best Legend of the DarkKnight issues. Blades is probably my favorite. I am also a big fan of Paul Dini and Grant Morrison right now.
