I'm re-re-re-reading the War Games story arc from 2003/2004. It's an amazing story in my opinion thats full of drama, action and secrets.  
So, why do people hate it so much? I think it would be a great animated film as well. 
Why all the hate, fellow comic-book lovers?

People hated War Games? Why? I can get not liking War Drums, there was some definite lack of communication in that but War Games was awesome, Black Mask made his way to the top of my villains list because of that story. What I really didn't like is how much of it was undone in Battle for the cowl and Daniel's run on the bat books. Seriously, Stephine Brown was better off dead. Oh and shameless self plugging:

War Games is one of my favorite Batman stories...it's Batman at his cold and calculating best

War Games is defiantly one of my favorite bat stories and one of the first ones I ever completely finished.

I loved War Games. I thought the entire idea was awesome and well executed

I've come across a lot of hate for War Games as well, and I always wondered why. It's one of my favorite stories.
