I still have hopes Grant will bring Damian back, by Damian selling his soul to the Devil to return. Pre-New 52 he sold his soul to save Gotham, but now that the time line is messed up, maybe Grant will change why he sold his soul. I don't see Grant leaving Batman with a huge plot hole, Damian has to become Batman. Somehow.

My favorite thing about him is everything, he is by far the best Robin that Batman had and will ever have.

Well, I've been using a Damian avatar the whole time, so that's in order.

Damian was 'my first Robin', with Morrison's B&R:Batman Reborn being the first comic featuring Robin that I've read, so the little bugger means a lot to me. I think it's his humor and the badassed-ness (is that even a word? you know what I mean) combined with the occasional glimpses of a 10 year old child who's slowly learning to actually live life.

The Batman & Robin Annual contained all the many reasons that I love him. It was pure perfection. I so very much wish that we get more comics in the same vein.

Heres to hopin' another DC guy "ivnents" a new kid on the block eh :D?

@FatihBATMAN: Stated by Morrison I believe. DC owns the character though. Once he's gone they can do whatever they want with him and when they see the drop in sales for Batman & Robin, they'll be rushing to raise him lol.

It's a shame he was killed off, I think the character had a lot of potential. Seems like a waste.

I liked how different he was from everyone else. He was the only character that had it in him to kill bad guys. Plus I also liked how he reacted to the Bat-Family pulling off the I don't care attitude, whereas really he cared for them a lot.

I'll miss him, but hope that he comes back in a good way. If not I'd prefer him to stay dead for a while, as it improves the odds of his return being better.

How, he created him with this intent. He got a brilliant reaction out it (no publicity's bad publicity). Plus also I'll judge when Batman Inc.'s finished. If Damian's death causes a huge melt down in Bruce it's worth it, as everyone knows that Damian will be back eventually, whether it's a month, three months, a year, or 10 years he'll be back.

I will miss Damian so much!

Can't think of any in particular, but at the start of the new Batman and Robin series he killed someone to save Batman, and Batman told him that he couldn't go around killing people, so Damian promised that he wouldn't kill. Although he's though of doing it a few times since.

These companies are so backwards. Batman FINALLY had a Robin that made sense (as opposed to kidnapping adolescents and conscripting them into his war) as well as brought an interesting tie with some of the rogues. Just the situation of him being a child with a deadly serious attitude was comedy gold. So they killed him to what? Attract new readers? Guess what, the thing that was worth reading about is now gone. Also, in the middle of trying to justify DotF as something rather than nothing, this move makes it nothing. A total waste of time. They must not be overseeing this stuff very well and just letting everyone solo. A symphony without a conductor sounds like s***.
