That the Doomsday we saw in the trailers actually starts out as Bizarro Supes but then starts evolving or deteriorating into the DD we see in the new trailer? That is sort of what I am thinking right now. Someone else posted something about a DD curse attached to Zod so maybe DD is something accidently unlocked in Zod's genes when Bizarro is created.

I read a BvS theory sometime back on a satellite guiding the Ultimate. Personally I'd have much preferred if Zod's corpse and the birth chamber were used by Lex to create his own Superman called O.M.A.C(not a whole army just one powerful version) who in turn would be guided tactically by Bruce's espionage satellite Brother Eye that Lex jacked. The satellite would feed strategies,evaluate the environment,find weaknesses,trigger adaptive mechanisms etc. I just find it cooler than a cave troll.

So, Zod turned into Bizarro, then turned into Doomsday...

I doubt it but maybe.

That's literally the best idea that this movie doesn't have. Too bad it's also on the level of Fantastic Four doom

I was thinking that Bizarro would be a better idea than Doomsday. It's a slightly less ridiculous way of creating Bizarro for the big screen, while making an otherwise unusable Superman villain a good throwaway villain/Lex Luthor henchman instead of wasting Doomsday. If you're not outright doing the Death of Superman storyline, they could have still done something special with him. Bizarro on the other hand just doesn't work that well.
