Poll: Did the lack of a post-credit scene piss you off? (69 votes)

Yes 22%
No 75%

The first time I went to see Batman v Superman I like the rest of the audience stupidly sat down to the very end of the movie, waiting for the post-credit scenes that never happened, wasting several minutes only to end up missing my bus and consequently missing my train believing there might be something to look forward to in Justice League Part 1which turns out there isn't.

This pissed me off but did this piss you off?

Nope! I like getting out of the theater as soon as the movie ends.

I didn't expect one but I stayed because everyone did. We looked stupid but we looked stupid together.

I'm pretty sure WB said a long time ago they weren't doing post credit scenes

No. Just because Marvel do it, doesn't mean DC will/should do it.

nope...essentially, the post credit scene was integrated into the end of the movie.

It's your fault for just expecting one without doing prior research. Post-credit scenes are a staple of Marvel, not DC.

Nah, there was already a lot to digest from the contents of the movie of whats to come in the future. A post-credit scene wasn't necessary

No. I really hate when I go with people who won't leave the theater until the end credits. I mean that clip will be online. No need to waste 15 minutes waiting.

Always ask a theatre employee before you go in. Easy solution to a stupid problem.

Confirmation that people are actively looking for reasons to hate on Snyder and BvS.

No, and why would you need a post credit scene for something to look forward to in Justice League? There was more than enough Justice League buildup in the film.

They could had place WW opening the email at the end instead of interrupting the build up of Superman vs Batman.

No. It seemed like the general audience assumed there was going to be one though, people in my cinema were sat waiting when I left. People who don't keep track of these films and just see it on an advert a week or two before release just sort of expect a post-credits sequence, but you can't really blame Snyder or WB for that, they could play up to that if they wanted to, but they aren't under any obligation to.

Most people on this site don't really have the right to feel annoyed, they've been saying forever that there won't be one.

That said, I did love the idea (can't remember where I heard it) of a post-credits scene of Flash re-appearing in the future with a broken Justice League comprised of Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Cyborg and telling them he arrived too soon. I would've much preferred that to the email.

The ending was post credit scene like in feel.

Besides. Sittinng through 10 minutes of credits is beyond old now. I can Google any of that information in a fraction of a time

@fallschirmjager: Which ending? There were like, three. Ha.

The Luthor prison visit, or Bruce saying he has to unite the others, or the dirt moving?

@the_stegman: the Luthor felt the most post credit-y to me.

The other two felt more natural

No. I don't know why anyone expected one either, since it would have probably been said by Snyder. Just 'cause Marvel does it, doesn't mean DC will.

I didn't watch the movie until the Sunday after it came out. By then I had already heard that there wasn't a after credit scene, so I didn't wait.

Avatar image for outside_85

No. Because I knew in advance there wasn't going to be one, just like there wasn't one at the end of Man of Steel and Snyder having been out saying he wasn't a fan of them. On top of this, the most likely scene that would have made up and end-credits thing would have been Diana looking at the files Bruce sent her.

I did but only because I leave last to not have to walk with a crowd. Everyone did. I didn't notice that's what was being expected. Funny. Marvel's template is really the how to for cbm. Even Deadpool winks at this.

Why are you so gung-ho on having everyone agree with you? DC is not Marvel and post-credit scenes are 100% pointless most of the time. They exist solely to divert your attention from critically re-evaluating the movie you just watched so you can discuss the movie yet to come.
