Special 75th Issue

Batman finds a man on the rooftops about to jump and convinces him not to. He ties him up first then climbs down. On street level, he reflects on the devastation caused by the recent earthquake. Mr. Freeze is loose and has been looting the city causing more death and destruction in his wake. Elsewhere in the city, Clayface has made his way out of the ground.

Meanwhile, Batman catches up with Mr. Freeze where a fight begins. He is quickly subdued but Clayface arrives on the scene. Another fight with this villain ensues. Batman has a difficult time reacting to Clayface's new piezzo-electric powers. He makes a play for Mr. Freeze's gun but is cornered by Clayface.

Mr. Freeze regains consciousness and Batman sees an opportunity. He taunts the villain prompting him to use his freeze ray against Clayface. The two battle it out giving Batman a chance to escape. Weakened by his encounter, he summons all his strength to pull down debris on Clayface and to stop Mr. Freeze.

Batman returns to the man on the rooftop who was watching all this time. He realizes how precious life is and is given hope by what he has seen.
