Joining Forces
Batman reaches the logical assumption that even him can´t deal with No Man´s Land on his own, so he asks for his closest friends an allies for help: Azrael, Robin, Nightwing, Oracle and the new Batwoman (Cassandra Cain) - Huntress is a liability, so he can´t count on her - this issue was a quick read and very interesting, but it was focused on the single purpose of Batman assembling his team in order to achieve better results and conquering more territory from Two Face and the others - once again Deodato proves his quality, showing great panels (4 or 5 per page) of common activities and awesome portraits of the characters mentioned above - the only thing that upsets me about this series is the fact that there isn´t a summary or an abstract of what was going on in the previous issues, like for instance, I don´t know what is the quarrel between Batman and Gordon, so it would be nice to have that explained in this kind of format so readers that don´t know this wouldn´t feel lost while watching Jim Gordon throwing a fist in Batman´s face - the best thing about this issue is Deodato´s art, definitely, but also it was pretty cool seeing all Batman´s associates together to fight crime as a team.
