    I was looking forward to reading this for quite awhile, and that was before I even realized that Walt Simonson was one of the artists. Unfortunately, The Last Batman Story didn't come close to its potential. In fact, this issue wasn't even as good as other issues of the time.The main problem is they make very little use of the futuristic setting. In fact, only a few panels even indicate that it's futuristic at all. The story could have been done without the older Batman and adult Robin in the f...
