    Hush

I recently read Hush, written by Jeph Loeb penciled by Jim Lee. Firstly, WOW, Jim Lee's drawing is probably, if not, one of the best I've ever come across. The story really grabs you, it's mysterious and keeps you wondering. The premise is that someone is targeting Batman leading to a rash of his greatest villains suddenly appearing to challenge him – but why are these things happening now and who is the mysterious villain behind it all? Batman and Catwoman dating? Check. Jason Todd's grave suddenly empty? Got it. Old childhood friends we'd never heard of suddenly showing up and having some significant impact on Bruce's early life? Yeah, got that too. Villains gaining upgrades to make them deadlier? Yup. One villain becoming a good guy again? Uh-huh

This is one of the best-looking Batman books you'll find on the shelves.
