The Origin of the Dark Knight 2

The rebooted Batman series gave Batman a good comeback after the fluke of a film Batman and Robin. The film accurately portrays the origin of the Bat to some extent but with a few changes. It's exciting and full of action and a good story. It includes three awesome villains: Ra's Al Ghul,Scarecrow and Zsasz. Christian Bale's fighting as Batman remains the most respectful to the Dark Knight. This is the best or second best Batman film probably second best.  The Bat ...

A breathe in the Knight 0

This movie was a wonderful new reclaiming of the bat from the previous attempts that were merely jokes. A truly gritty feel was given to the driving force behind the Dark Knight's motives and desire to prevent the tragedy befallen him upon others. We can only hope if this franchis continues with further films it does so in the same style and manner both this one and it's follow up gave us. The Dark Knight will be hard to follow but we can still have hope!...

    A good Batman film 0

In 2005, Christopher Nolan brought us Batman Begins after an eight year hiatus in the Batman film series. Instead of doing a sequel to Batman & Robin he chose to do a reboot.  Christian Bale this time dons the cowl and cape as a younger Bruce Wayne just becoming Batman for the first time. Christian Bale does rather well as Batman but doesn't fare so well as Bruce Wayne.  He captures the essence of character and shows us sides of the character we had never seen before. He is joined by Michael...

The Batman movie we waited decades for. 1

I grew up on Detective Comics.  It's where DC gets its name - you know, the company that invented the superhero - and has been making quality stories almost twice as long as their biggest competitor (Marvel Comics Group). Today they are owned by one of the world's largest conglomarates - Time Warner AOL - which also owns one of the oldest movie studios (Warner Bros.). Unfortunately, they have had a terrible track record of getting their superheroes faithfully adapted to the large and small scree...

    The Batman is Back!! 0

Batman is a great hero, but after the movie Batman and Robin, he wasn't so great, but with this movie it shows why so great. Christopher Nolan brings Batman as a real person because he is a real person people can relate to, he is a hero with no powers and has loss his parents and want to fight injustice in Gotham. The story told why he choose a bat becuase he was afraid of them when he was a kid. The movie showed how Bruce trained to be the hero for Gotham and showed how he faced tough foes like...

Batman still can't turn his head. 0

The movie was great! I found Christians Bale's "Batman voice" to be a little comical, but other than that there isn't anything negative that I can really say. It's not the Batman from my childhood, and in my heart I think Keaton is the best one, but Bale brought a depth that none of his predecessors did. What can I say, rich playboy with a lot of disposable money, a personal military/ ninja gadget factory and a grudge. But that's Bruce Wayne for ya!...

    Batman Begins 0

Batman begins is a loose adaptation of the award winning graphic novel 'Batman Year One'. Many of the iconic scenes from the comic carry over quite well like the police corruption. The origins/training of batman are also incredible. The flashbacks, jail scene, and training under Racsh al Ghul are all very amazing scenes. The movie can drag on repeated showings but in watching for the first time it kept me captivated. 10/10 i would recommend owning a copy of this movie as it is in my top 4 ba...

one of the best origin movies ever 0

Nearly perfect rebooted origin story. Genius move to set the story in as real and as grounded of a setting as possible. Christopher Nolan made something special with his Batman films and it feels like Batman Begins is often overlooked due to the reputation of The Dark Knight. Fans should at least appreciate Batman Begins in a similar light. ...
