I honestly think he should just work with the rest of the bat family whenever they have the time and forget about Robin for a few years. Assuming the scenario though where Damian does not die, I think I would go for either Stephanie Brown or Cassandra Cain. I don't know either too well so I can't really choose between them. Tim Drake is the leader of the Teen Titans now so I doubt he wants to go back to sidekick. Harper Row really hasn't impressed me enough that she should be a Robin. The others are just too random lol.
Batman and Robin
Team » Batman and Robin appears in 3686 issues.
Potentially the best known and popular partnership of heroes in comic books, the dynamic duo is a team comprised of the legendary Batman and his loyal sidekick Robin. The identities of Batman and Robin have varied over time, but the titles have endured.
Comic Book Question of the Week Results: 02/26/13 'Who Should Be Robin?'
Sweet! I'm so glad Damian won. It's good to know he won't be gone for long. Good job viners. I was so worried...
I think if DC are smart enough to bring Steph back and make things a bit more light hearted after what happened with Damian, that'd be good to have her as Robin.
Otherwise it'd be nice to bring in Cass for Robin.
Do people realize how much the character would have to change to make Steph a Robin? first thing they would do is make her between 13 to 16 years of age Tim is between 18 and 21. So the pairing of Steph and Tim would be out the window unless you are a creepy pairing kind of person.
Cass would be stupid as a Robin, Cass was always the badass ninja batgirl to degrade her character by making her a Robin is just down right insulting of the character to the point what Didio did to her character in OYL would seem tame and ask any Cass fan how much they hated OYL Cass.
These comments are very interesting, I'd personally be okay if there weren't another Robin, because in my mind despite changing his name a little to Red Robin, Tim is still Robin but more independent & I personally think he's become his own hero. The only problem with this is that kids need a character they can look to. Tim & Dick have both been my favorites growing up and they still are, but Robin is a way for kids to imagine being by Batman's side. I wasn't a Damian fan, but he did relate well to kids and people out there. So in my mind Tim is Robin, we had 2 Robins (Damian & Tim) the past while, but there does need to be another for the kids. So I'm kind of two-sided on this topic.
Another topic being mentioned while reading through this discussion I noticed people were talking about who should be Oracle. I've got an answer for that myself. Chloe Sullivan should be Oracle, she was introduced before the new 52 reboot, but hasn't appeared since from what I understand, I think she'd be the perfect Oracle.
He's better off without a Robin. But unfortunately he'll get another brat to hang off his cape. I can almost see them bringing Damian to the Lazarus Pit and bringing him back in some lame way.
Part of me feels that they should have ended it with Damian, with him being so young and the fact characters age very slowly (if at all in some cases) they could have spent the next few decades with Damian as Robin growing up, I would have loved to see him as sixteen year old and dealing with teen things such as high school, girls, drama, etc.
But on the other hand, I've warmed up to Harper and I would like to see her take up the mantle of Robin. Having another female Robin would be a nice change in my opinion as for the most part people only know Robin as a boy (most people don't even know there have been female Robins before). Plus I feel there needs to be more female members of the Bat-Family, currently only Batgirl unless you consider Batwoman and Catwoman) is the only female member of the Bat-Family, so with Stephanie and Cassandra in limbo, I feel Harper would be a welcomed new addition to the Bat-Family.
No more Robins! if Batman takes on another Robin it would show how little he cared about his only biological son by replacing him after he died in battle. It would be an insult to the fans as well to say this event didnt matter bc Batman has moved on and now Damians uniforms hangs as a reminder of what happens to his sidekicks that he chooses to ignore himself.
my guess is for the next 12-24 issues of Batman and Robin, it'll be team ups with the old Robins. after that either Damian returns or an established character takes the mantle.

When Alfred dies Harper Row should become Wayne's next servant!
this. the only time where it would be acceptable to tell a woman to get her ass in the kitchen and make a sammich.

Tim lead the TT as Robin pre-flashpoint
Cass needs to come back, but not as Robin. Steph is best as spoiler, but I'm okay with this result. I voted for Tim. Based on the events of Teen Titans he probably won't be coming to the Batcave any time soon, but I'd love to him to be Robin he was before the New 52.
If Batman and Robin becomes Bruce and Harper, I'd rather they cancel the series. I would not read that. I'd find a better way to spend my money.
I voted for Cassandra but I'm not surprised she didn't win. She was Batgirl for roughly a decade but I guess she never took. Stephanie Brown was only Batgirl for 2 years and she was more popular, plus she was a Robin and maybe people believe she didn't get real chance to spread her wings more when she was.
I say they retire the idea of Robin altogether. It's too ridiculous a concept, and how many of his sidekicks have to die before he realizes it's not the best idea to have a kid with no powers fightig alongside you.

Yeah I just remembered he was still regular Robin in Batman and son instead of Red Robin. Didn't read too much DC before New 52. Only started backtracking recently.

I agree with this. Maybe not retire it completely but it needs a long break. Lose one kid, shame on them. Lose a second, shame on you. The fact that he was both a few years younger than Jason as well as his actual son makes it even worse.
After this, I'm kinda feeling guilty I put my vote toward Tim now. I know, its just a cover, but still...
Nah, I change my mind. Maybe its just time for Batman to be solo for now and make good on Snyder's "Death of the Family" intention...make my Bruce a lone wolf now.
@RedheadedAtrocitus: I doub Tim actually is glad that Damian is dead . Covers always lie .... he is most likely not himself in that issue .
Surprised that Harper Row got so many votes . Honestly , I don`t like the idea of a female Robin . We`ve already seen this . Its not original . Most people probably just voted her because they think it is likely that she becomes Robin .
I'd be fine with Tim going back to being just "Robin". But not as Batman's partner, maybe just leader of TT. I've always preferred Batman solo. Or maybe I just want Tim in a different costume so I don't have to keep seeing that ridiculous featherey cape of his.

I don't get it? Why would it be possible for a character who is not in the DC Universe to begin with, would ever become the sidekick Robin? Half of these characters are not even in the DC Universe.
It wouldn't be possible, but sometimes speculating these things can be plenty of fun. And, an option or two in there are clearly joke options ;)
I don't like Harper Row, she isn't Robin material, she knows nothing of fighting, just how to jump start a heart with a pair of jumper cables. Not saying she couldn't be an asset to Batman, I'm not going to be biased cause I don't like her, but definitely not for Robin. I want to see Stephanie Brown make a New 52 debut. Harper Row can be like one of Batman's insiders to the mind of Gotham, nothing more.
I say Michelangelo. We need someone with a sense of humor, not a cynical little A-Hole like Damian. I'm glad he's gone, I wasn't a fan.
I'd like to see Tim come back, he still holds the name Red Robin, which supposedly has been his name the whole time *cough* stupid Lobdell *cough*. And Batman should learn by now he must use older partners, that not only can hold their own but have lived a little so if tragedy does befall them they have at least experienced life more extensively than Damian did.
