Welcome to the second 'Comic Book Question of the Week!' Let's pretend for a moment that Joker's plan over in Scott Snyder's 'The Death of the Family' went better than expected. In fact, it went so well that Batman's own son and current Robin, Damian Wayne, has decided to go back into the not-so loving arms of his mother, Talia al Ghul (don't argue semantics... just work with the silly scenario, people). Batman realizes there's no chance of winning back his son in the near future, and he decides he needs to fill Robin's shoes.

Out of the characters we've provided, who would you want to be the next Robin and why? And despite the thought being hilarious, Wolverine in Robin's costume is not an option. Besides, the joke option goes to someone who would look far more hysterical in that getup. Just imagine this character crouched by Batman's side with his stomach hanging out of the attire. FEAR THE FLAB, GOTHAM!

Cassandra Cain or Jubilee would be awesome!

I know Cassie is the best Batgirl and she deserves that role, but with Barbara Gordon wearing that cowl, I don't see why Cassie couldn't take over.

Plus, Jubilee has always been the sidekick type character... I think it would be ironic for a light-creating girl to acompany the dark knight.

@G-Man a charcter who is at least 18. Clearly Bruce can not take care of under aged crime fighter. It would be irresponsible for him to have under age crime fighter. The Justice League or Justice League of America should ban him from having under aged robins. So with that said Jason Todd would make a decent robin. Since hes over 18 right?

If DC makes Harper Row the new robin, I'll be dropping the Batman titles. I just don't see Harper Row bringing Batman from the brink of losing his humanity. If Damian really is going to die, I don't think there should be another Robin. And if they do bring him back he's definitely going to be evil. I don't really want to see that either.

Yeah if it's the supposed "fan favorite" Harper Row, I'm out of the Batman comic buying business. Fan favorite my ass. Steph and Cass are fan favorites. Harper Row is a throwaway character.

One of the most logical choices IMO is Beryl (Squire) I mean she just lost her legal guardian (Knight) So I kinda see her becoming Robin. She would probably leave London because it reminds her too much of him.

I really hope it's a female, like Harper Row. I think she would be an awesome Robin. I really dug Carrie Kelly in DKR. I can see some parallels between her and Harper Row.

For me Tim is the quintessential Robin candidate so I voted him again. Having said that I hope the next Robin is an interesting one.

I remember this crazy elseworld from YEARS ago were Bruce Wayne and Talia Al ghul of all people had a son together, I THINK his name was Damien ... wouldn't it just be bat $#!+ crazy if he was Robin ...oh man

Bring Stephanie back to the Robin costume... or have Helena return to being Robin which I doubt cuz this is not her father.

Why isn't Alfred an option? Does nobody else think that would be some sort of great? And if age is really a problem, just toss him in a Lazarus Pit or something.

@sora_thekey: I like Cassandra Cain but she never really fit into the role of Batgirl well. I actually like Stephanie more as Batgirl but to me Barbara Gordon is Batgirl and will always will be. I think forging her own identity as the Black Bat or whatever else they may come up with is the right way to go with her. I think both she and Stephanie Brown should come back in the new 52.

There will never be a better Robin than Damien...but since his time as Robin is probably coming to an end, let's get someone who isn't a skinny black haired white guy like all four of the others have been.

None. Batman is so much cooler by himself (not including Alfred, of course). But if I had to pick one, I would want Tim Drake to be sidekick. At the very least, I'm hoping Tim Drake gets to play a bigger role alongside Batman now. Teen Titans has sucked, and I feel like I don't get to see Tim Drake enough in comics anymore.

Drake. I know it won't happen but its just my personal opinion.

Honestly Damian is the best. I have to admit that I had issues with him at first mostly because I'm a huge fan of Tim Drake, but really the kid is the best. Other than Damian I guess I'd go with Tim Drake but that's never going to happen because he's "independent" now, and when Robin's grow up they leave the nest. Therefore I guess Cassandra Cain because she was a great Batgirl, maybe her costume can be modified... although I'm not sure how I'd like that. But really Damian should be the last Robin I think it would be irresponsible of Bruce, (or of the writers to make someone knew up), I think he's had enough Robins.

Harper Row has been set up for possible chance to be robin. It would be a shame not to utilize her. she is crafty and has alot of willpower. She is street and tech smart. which makes her a good candidate to be a new robin. But at the same time I want stephanie brown back as Batgirl. I love Babs. ALOT... but she was a better character in a wheel chair.

Yeah, i know.But they seem to be setting her up for something.The rumor a month or two ago was that she'd take over since Alfred would die in death of the family,didn't exactly happen that way though(thank god.....Alfred's awesome) so this'll probably be the new rumor until they do....whatever they're going to do with Harper Row.

i think Tim Drake is pass the robin stage or red robin whatever we are to call it

Stephanie would be a good Robin in the New DC 52 Series.
