Damian became Robin shortly after his father's disappearance, as Dick Grayson, the new Batman, felt it was his duty to make sure Damian stayed on the right path.
Dick is the originator of the mantle of Robin and originally the other half of the dynamic duo. Through the years he has adopted the role of Batman twice, during which he formed his own Dynamic Duo: first with Tim Drake and then later with Damian Wayne.
From an alternate universe, the daughter of Bruce Wayne
Jason Todd was the second Robin, replacing Dick Grayson and partnering with Bruce Wayne. This ended with his death, which proved to be only a temporary condition for him. Years later, he took on the Batman identity and offered to allow Tim Drake to be his Robin. Tim refused to be part of a Dynamic Duo with him.
