Interesting Father-Vigilante Take. Clean and Standalone read! 2
NO SPOILERS REVIEW!This book actually surprised me. Probably because I was not expecting much from this book.The StoryVery clean and fresh story and what I really liked was it can be really read as a standalone story without much need of any background information or history of Robins - Only thing that is needed to know before reading this book is that Batman had a thing with Talia Al Ghul long time ago and Damian Wayne is their son. There's an individual brutally attacking Batman Incorporated, which is a group of Batman's that operate around the world all lead and trained by the original Batman Bruce Wayne. Meanwhile, Batman is on the prowl together with his son Damian Wayne, the current Robin, and although he respects his son's skill, he has a serious problem with his bloodlust. As with most of the New 52, this volume has a lot wrong with it, but it is better than most of the other Batman titles I've been reading lately, so by sheer novelty (or its rehashed version of novelty, at least) it deserves a slightly higher rating. Unlike the dialogue-sparse Geoff Johns volumes, the absence of dialogue in parts of this collection is aided by quality artwork and better dialogue when it occurs. True, some of it is stilted and obvious, but by the end it gets better. Even with the ...

"So emotional and heart-touching" 0
This first volume is so emotional and heart-touching. It shows us how Batman keep struggling to teach his son Damian to be a good sidekick and respect his rules and morals, usually failing due to his natural instinct. Finally, we see some good "father and son" heart-touching moments....
